World Invocation Day

From the annals of the Ancient Wisdom comes a tool and technique for humanity to help the world on World Invocation Day.

World Invocation Day is a World Day of Prayer and Meditation when men and women of every spiritual path join in a universal appeal to divinity and use the Great Invocation.

Together we focus the evocative demand of humanity for the light, the love and the spiritual direction needed to build a world of justice, unity, and peace.

WORLD INVOCATION DAY (also called the Festival of Humanity and the Christ Festival) is the spirit of humanity aspiring towards God, seeking conformity with the will of God, and dedicated to the expression of right human relations.

This is celebrated on the Gemini Full Moon every year. It is a day wherein the spiritual and divine nature of humankind will be recognized.

This year the full moon of Gemini is on May 23, 2023, at exactly 6:52 am Pacific, 8:52 am Central, 9:52 am Eastern in the United States.

Festival of Humanity (World Invocation Day)

At the time of the Festival of Humanity (World Invocation Day), the Hierarchy will, under the guidance of the Christ, let loose the will-to-good upon Humanity, producing seven great results:

7 Great Results

Power will be given to the disciples of the world and the initiates among humanity so that They can direct efficiently and wisely the coming process of rebuilding.
The will-to-love will stimulate the men and women of goodwill everywhere so that hatred will gradually be overcome, and humanity will seek to live together cooperatively.
The will-to-action will lead intelligent people throughout the world to inaugurate those activities which will lay the foundation for a new, better, and happier world.
The will-to-cooperate will steadily increase also. Men and women will desire and demand right human relations.
The will-to-know and to think correctly and creatively will become an outstanding characteristic of the masses. Knowledge is the first step towards wisdom.
The will-to-persist (which is an aspect of devotion and fixed idealism) will become a human characteristic – a sublimation of the basic instinct of self-preservation.
The will-to-organize will further a building process which will be carried forward under the direct inspiration of the Hierarchy. The medium will be the potency of the will-to-good of the New Group of World Servers and the responsive goodwill of humankind.

You can use the World Invocation below to help humanity and Planet Earth align with and ultimately achieve this Divine Plan.

This ancient invocation comes to you and to all of the citizens of this beautiful world without any religious dogma or denomination.

The name of God and the definition of God can be whatever and however you envision God to be.

This ancient invocation, as all prayers and invocations do, relies on the Universal truth and principle that “Energy Follows Thought.”

What Can You Do To Help

You can choose to use it by saying it or thinking it on World Invocation Day or as often as you like, trusting that when you do, no matter how often you do it you are doing something to help the world be a better place.

You may find that using this invocation brings to you a sense of peace. You may be prompted from your Soul to use it often.

If you are someone who likes regular schedules and rituals you may like to use this invocation at specific events or times of the day, with other spiritual practices in which you engage.

Or you may simply read it or say it at times of need for the experience it gives you.

You, as always have the opportunity to choose.

There is in my sharing of this invocation no requirement requested or implied.

It is something I was directed to share with you by the promptings of my heart and my Soul. Use it as you will.

If you wish to include this invocation in a regular ritual, I am told in the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom that other spiritual beings and master’s engage in sounding this invocation at the following events and times of the day:

– Sunrise

– Noon

– 5 pm in your own time zone. If you are aware of my writings, you may note that that is also the time you are encouraged to say The Blessing of The New Group of World Servers.

– Sunset

– And I find saying this invocation at night before I go to sleep to be helpful.

I have a friend who used this invocation to treat his P.T.S.D. whenever he awoke.

The Ageless Wisdom also suggests that using this invocation in the 2 and a half days preceding any Full Moon can help you through the sense of agitation many feel in the moon cycle.

Legend tells us that those exalted beings, who are known as the Hierarchy, released this invocation for power and light from the Archives of the Master’s (which was normally distributed stanza-by-stanza to disciples on the path throughout time) to the public at the time of the full moon of June 1945 (due to World War II) through the Tibetan Master Djwhal Khul.

It has come to, since that time, be lovingly known as THE GREAT INVOCATION.

The invocation (below) does not belong to any person or group but to all humanity. By using it and encouraging others to use it, no particular group or organization is being sponsored.

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the mind of God,

Let Light stream forth into the minds of men.

Let light descend on earth.

From the point of Love within the heart of God,

Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men.

May Christ return to Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known,

Let purpose guide the little wills of men,

The purpose which the masters know and serve.

From the center which we call the Race of Men,

Let the plan of Love and Light work out,

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on earth.

Miracles Are Always Possible

Miracles are always possible; that was the message that came through in my morning meditation.

As I went deeper into that thought and that promise, I realized that miracles are not only possible; they are your birthright.

There are so many times in life’s adventure that you may look at your life situation and see what you need and then think; “it is going to take a miracle.” So I say, “make a miracle happen.”

As I write those words, I can feel a wave of judgment and disapproval from many people. That judgment says; miracles are the providence of God, not mankind. However, as I ponder and consider miracles; I would say true miracles are about teamwork. God, in the many ways in which God moves life is certainly in charge of miracles.

Aligning With Divine Will

Any miracle you pray for and invoke acknowledges the importance of aligning with Divine Will. Aligning with Divine Will is essential in two crucial ways. First, only when you align with Divine Will are you assured that the Highest Good of All is the result of the creation of a miracle. Second, aligning with Divine Will is your protection for unintended consequences.

None of us can, from our human perspective, see all of the possible results and ramifications of a miracle. The implications of every shift in energy are vast. Surrendering your desire to Divine Will reminds you that the right order and right relationship of asking for a miracle are that God is in charge.

That said, God has imbued us as human beings with a spark of Divine Light and Divine essence. That is not a gift given lightly. It is an essential part of who you are. You have within you that spark of Divine Light as the nature of your Soul.

The Role of Your Soul

Your Soul is always aware of the importance of surrender to Divine Will. When you want or need a miracle it is your Soul that knows how to help you receive that blessing. It is from your Soul that the perspective of the detachment of selfish will and desire can come to invoke the Highest Good for all.

When you put your Soul in charge and release your little will and the desires and attachments of your personality, a shift takes place that makes miracles possible. Putting your Soul in charge not only aligns you with Divine Will, but it also opens you to the realm of Angels to help.

Miracles happen by the teamwork and cooperation of three essential elements; alignment with Divine Will, the surrender of your will, and the collaboration of the Angels. All of this is the natural result of letting your Soul be in control.

Now, knowing human nature as I do, and understanding the difficulty of the personality to surrender to the Soul, you might say that in itself is a miracle. Certainly, wrestling control from your ego and personal will is a challenging part of creating a miracle or allowing a miracle to be manifest in your life.

It is important to understand that miracles do not work outside of science and the laws of nature. They may be outside of what you know and understand about the laws of the universe and nature. Even God works within the laws of nature.

Recently Pope Francis made this point when he announced about creation, ”God is not a magician waving a magic wand.”

Humanity’s understanding of the laws of science is continually expanding. The study of physics is regularly revealing new ideas. The field of Noetic Science is proving many of the old truths of the Ageless Wisdom that have guided spiritual aspirants for years, such as “energy follows thought,” a universal principle on which I frequently write.

When you expand your awareness to your Soul and put your Soul in control, you open your heart and your mind to the realm of Angels and invite them to help in the creation of a miracle in your life.

An essential part of the nature of your Soul and an essential aspect of Angelic Presence is alignment with Divine Will. Both your Soul and all the Angels align with Divine Love, which is the underlying force of Divine Will.

Miracles must always take place within the combined energies of Divine Will and Divine Love.

You may not know or consciously understand the subtle manipulation of universal laws and principles that need to be applied to create a miracle. It is not necessary or even important that you do so. Faith is sufficient when considering the manifestation of a miracle.

Your Co-Creator Relationship With God

Miracles are the place where you, your Soul and God all meet in your co-creatorship relationship with God. God created you to live in relationship with Him.

That relationship is a sacred covenant the theologian Martin Buber called an “I-Thou relationship.” In Buber’s view, all of our relationships bring us ultimately into relationship with God, who is the Eternal Thou.

The relationship between God and humanity is an incredible miracle. Your relationship is a mystical dynamic between you, (as a son or daughter of mankind), and God, as your creator.

A part of that relationship is a responsibility that you have as a child of God who is miraculous, also a child of humanity. God put you here on planet earth to help manifest a plan of evolution. That plan requires your active and creative participation.

Your creative part of that plan is as a human and material being and comes complete with all of the faults and failures you have as a human being. However, you are imbued with a Soul. In all of creation, it is only a human being who has this higher level dual nature. It is manifesting from that dual nature that a miracle is created. It is with this merger of your Soul and your material life that you can take on the role and responsibility as a co-creator with God.

For this to work and not go horribly array, it is necessary for you to merge and integrate your Soul with your personality.

A part of a powerful mantra that encapsulates this truth of Soul-Personality integration is the Mantram of Unification:

Let the Soul control the outer form, and life and all events and bring to Light the Love that underlies the happenings of the time.
– Alice Bailey (Djwal Khul Discipleship in the New Age, Vol. II)

Now take a deep breath. Calm your mind, open your heart, invite the Light.

As you read this phrase from the Mantram of Unification, consider how it may be used to create miracles in your life. Ponder on this!

Then, call upon your Angels for help. They too are part of God’s great plan and have dedicated their life to helping humanity achieve that plan.

As others have, you can ask for a miracle through prayer. Remembering that surrendering your personal Will to the Divine Will and the Wisdom of the Angelic Kingdom and Wisdom of the Divine is a protection from unintended consequences that can harm you or others.

My Prayer for Asking for a Miracle

Father God, Divine Mother, My Angelic Guardians, and Guides, I need help. It seems that this situation in life, ____________________________________________ needs miraculous intervention.

Please guide and direct me to do what I can do as a human being to resolve this situation. Please help from your exalted level to create a miracle, if this is beyond my ability to solve.

I ask in full faith and assurance that miracles are possible and in full faith and surrender to the wisdom of Divine Will for the highest good of all.

For this blessing and this miracle, I give thanks.

Amen, so be it and it is so.

When an individual, or even more powerfully and profoundly a group, call upon the Divine for healing or Divine intervention with a world problem, the prayers and invocations create an activation of energy to which all Divine beings respond.

They are your birthright, and you can manifest them as a part of your great adventure as a Soul, having a great adventure in your human experience. You are a beloved child of God. The Angels surround you and are available to you to help you do anything that aligns with the greater plan and Divine Will.

Pray to the Divine Mother for Healing

This article is part of my ongoing series on Healing.

Today I am going to talk to you about connecting to the healing power and amazing love and grace of the Divine Mother.

The energy of the Divine Mother is archetypical and available to you when you bring the presence of the Divine Mother into your consciousness. As an integral part of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) her power and her presence is available to you through your invocation at your invitation.

The Divine Mother is sometimes called the Holy Spirit and her presence is often experienced when people pray to Mary, Mother of Jesus.

The Threefold Flame

There is a light that shines beyond all things on Earth, beyond us all, beyond the heaven, beyond the highest, the very highest heavens.

This is the light that shines in our heart.
– Chandogya Upanishad

The Divine Mother is associated with unconditional love, forgiveness, and grace and can be an active and powerful presence in your life. Many say she is more accessible in prayer and petition than the Father aspect of the Trinity. Countless across the world pray to Mary to intercede on their behalf with Jesus, the Son aspect of the Trinity.

Because Mary, the Mother of Jesus, has over the past two thousand years been the recipient of prayers and petitions to the Divine Mother, these energies have merged largely.

Yet, the Divine Mother as an eternal part of the Trinity remains distinct, as she is the eternal expression of the Divine Feminine, also known as the Mother of the World. This has been evident since the dawn of time.

In the patriarchal emphasis of church leaders in the past 2000 years it is through Mary, the Mother of Jesus, that humankind has reached the great love, profound forgiveness and vast unconditional love that is the essence of the Divine Mother.

When you consider and ponder on the prayer of the words of the Hail Mary prayed by faithful Catholics around the globe, you will see the powerful and profound way in which Mary, Mother of Jesus, has served as a representative of the Divine Mother to provide comfort, grace, and forgiveness.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Amen

This powerful prayer invokes the presence of the Divine Mother who is known by many names, including the Divine Feminine.

As with all aspects of Divinity, the limitations we as human beings ascribe with names does not limit the power with which the Divine responds to our invocation and petition.

God, in the full power and glory of the Trinity, is available to you and to all human beings as a dynamic living part of the covenant that exists between God and mankind. This is a deep mystery and a profound truth.

When you call upon God, as the Father, as the Son, as the Holy Spirit or as the Divine Mother, God responds, undeterred and unrestricted by what words you choose in your petition.

God is not limited by our understanding of the nature of Divinity.

What I have come to understand about our human experience is that much of this is unknown to us and all of our feeble attempts, including mine, may fall short of the glory and majesty of what is real.

It is for this reason that I frequently, in my own meditations, say the Mantra:

May the Divine Self inspire me
and the Light of the Soul direct.

May I be led from the darkness into Light,
from the unreal to the real,
from death to immortality.

To give you a glimpse and insight into the powerful presence of the Divine Feminine today, I have written an invocation to help bring the Divine Mother into your prayer or meditative experience in a way that will stimulate your conscious experience of the presence.

I invite you to experience this invocation, although it may be more a prayer than a traditional meditation, with an open mind and an open heart, dropping judgement and criticism and calling upon your own inner sense of truth and knowing.

This, like all meditations, is what is revealed from the promptings of your heart and the wisdom of your Soul. I make no claims that my thoughts and ponderings are the truth, but bring to you the opportunity to receive whatever experience is right for you to ponder and find your own sense of rightness and truth.

All I ask is that you say this invocation with the intention to bring the power and presence of the Divine Feminine (the Divine Mother) into your conscious awareness, your heart and your mind.

She will respond to that intention and invitation and provide you what you need from this experience.

A Prayerful Invocation
to the Divine Mother for Healing

Calm your mind, open your heart and invite the Light.

Begin by taking in a very deep and relaxing breath.

As you breathe in, open your whole being to being receptive to the love, grace and healing presence of the Divine Mother.

With your next deep breath, consciously open your heart and make it receptive to Love.

With your next breath, consciously open your mind and make it open to insight.

With your next breath invoke and invite the presence of your Soul, which you could imagine as a radiant golden point of Light about 3-to-6 feet above your head.

As you breathe in a full breath, invoke and invite the healing power and the healing Presence of the Divine Mother into your life.

Know that invocation and invitation open a portal for you to receive the blessings and grace of Her Divine Presence.

As you exhale at the conclusion of the breath cycle, release from your mind and your heart any pain or sorrows you may have experienced from lack of mother-love or nurturing in your life. Let any sorrow, sense of lack or loss be healed in her awe-inspiring love and grace. Let her power heal you, relieve you, support and sustain you.

With one more deep, relaxing and satisfying breath, open your Soul Light to receive the tremendous power and grace of the Divine Mother, the omnipresent flow of Divine Love through Her from the Source of Universal Love, the transcendent essence of unconditional love.

Let Her Love fill your heart to overflowing. Let Her Love and Grace enfold you.

As you connect with Her Presence, place your needs for healing before her by invoking:

Divine Mother, Source of Divine Love and dispenser of the healing power of Grace, I place in Your gentle care my need for healing. In this life, many of my needs for the Unconditional Love and Grace that You bring into the world have been unmet and unfulfilled.

I now ask You to fill my heart with Your transcending and transforming Love. I now ask You to heal my life that I may attract Love and give Love freely.

The failures of my earthly mother may have left wounds and burdens that trouble my heart and may have created limitations and misunderstandings of the meaning, purpose, and power of Love in my life.

I ask that your Love erases and heal all hurts. Understanding that my mother’s failures may have come from her own lack of love in her life, I now forgive her as a demonstration of the unconditional aspect of Love that Your Presence demonstrates to me.

Make me an instrument of Your Grace. Help me to demonstrate in my life what it truly is to Love unconditionally, without attachment or expectations.

Before You Holy Mother, I place all of my needs for Your unconditional Love. Within Your loving embrace and imbued with Your transcending grace, I ask forgiveness for any and all of the times in my life that I have failed to Love.

Assured of Your forgiveness I am able to be at peace. Embraced by Your Grace I am strengthened.

The unconditional Love that Your Love demonstrates to me serves as a guide in my life for how to Love others. Your Grace and Your forgiveness demonstrate to me how to be compassionate and forgiving.

I affirm my desire to be an instrument of grace and love to others in the world.

Now, I open my heart, my mind, and my Soul to receive Your Divine Love to support and sustain me for the rest of my days.

As I accept and receive this amazing blessing, all wounds and damage created by a lack of Love or a misunderstanding of Love are offered up for Your healing power in Your healing Presence.

My life is transformed and healed by your goodness and grace.

As Your Love fills me, filling in every crevasse of lack or loneliness; I extend the power of Your unconditional Love and transcending Grace out to all who touch my life.

I open myself to the Divine Love that flows through You and invite and invoke that flow to be an omnipresent force in my life that I can demonstrate and share.

As I am One with You, my heart is filled to overflowing with Love.

I now sit quietly, calmly and receptively open to the healing power and presence of my Soul as I let my heart be filled. I rejoice and give thanks for the amazing blessing I have received.

I now sit quietly, calmly and receptively with my mind open to wisdom and insight about love that I may see and experience the truth. As I am freed from attachment and illusion, I am freed to really Love.

Pause

Any lack of Love that I have suffered in the past, any shortage of Grace I have ever experienced is now healed and removed from me with Your healing Presence in this meditation.

I know that Your Healing is complete and Your Grace is sufficient for all of my needs. I give thanks that this great blessing that I have received today is available to me at any time of my need when I come to You in prayer or meditation.

I ask that I may now be a beacon of Love in the world and a demonstration of Your endless ability to forgive and that I become a source for Grace and Compassion to all who touch my life.

This I offer in gratitude for Your Healing Power and Your Healing Presence in my life.

This Love and this great blessing are mine without limit. Each time that I share Your Love with others I am holding open the door of Divine Love for the ongoing blessing and nurturing in my own life.

Each time I offer forgiveness and compassion, I am holding open the door to the Grace and Forgiveness You make available to me.

It is by giving I receive and it is by grace I am healed, so that my life is ever filled with the joy of loving, and of being loved.

No sorrow can stand or wound can fester in the Healing Power of Your Divine Love once You have been called forth.

Let me be an instrument to focus Your healing power to those I encounter in need of Your Divine Love and Grace that You have granted me. This is a service I offer to You, and to the world in gratitude.

In gratitude and appreciation of the healing I have received, I vow to be a source of Love in the world that I can move forward in my life, free from past sorrows, filled to overflowing with Your omnipresent Love, Your limitless Compassion and Your gentle Goodness and Mercy.

Now take a few minutes to ponder on this great blessing and go forth to love and live and serve humanity.

Principles of Goodwill:

Start With Harmlessness and Right Speech

Goodwill has been called, a saving force in the midst of world need.

Its keynote is liberation of the human spirit, releasing consciousness into more creative livingness.

The Ageless Wisdom teaches that there are some essential principles to guide the actions of men and women of Goodwill.

They are Harmlessness and Right Speech.

It is significant to note that even before considering doing good in the world, is the instruction to do no harm. This principle of Harmlessness has far-reaching implications.

In order to live by this principle you must consider the consequences of your actions. Those consequences are often far-reaching and can be unintended. In order to live without doing harm, it is necessary to be conscious of both yourself and others.

Perhaps that is why the masters of old instructed by emphasizing this principle. It is significant that in the ancient teachings this principle is paired with the important concept of Right Speech. It is interesting that the principle of Harmlessness requires that you consider not only what you say but often what you leave unsaid.

Words are powerful. They are alchemical aspects of the process of creation. Right Speech is a basic tenant of the similar principles of Right Action and Right Relationship. These are wise guidelines for conscious living.

Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain – and most fools do. But it takes character and self-control to be understanding and forgiving…

Let’s try to figure out why they do what they do. That’s a lot more profitable and intriguing than criticism; and it breeds sympathy, tolerance, and kindness.”

It is certainly easier to avoid damage than to heal or repair it. I have often thought that this fact is the greatest significance of this guidance. The awareness that focusing on these two principles requires accomplishes a great deal in creating a happy life with successful relationships.

As I write these words, I am reminded of Dale Carnegie’s famous teachings in his book “How to Win Friends and Influence People.” His book was one of the first best-selling self-help books, selling over 15 million copies and was certainly an important guideline for success. Being successful in life is a key to manifesting your life purpose. Being in right relationship with others and successful and mutually supportive and having loving relationships is a cornerstone to that happiness. Note: Being aware of the factors of harmlessness as you observe and consider your behavior can be a powerful guideline for you.

These are active and dynamic principles. When you add your scrutiny of the factors of your behavior and consider Harmlessness and Right Speech as the desired standard by which you live, a myriad of pitfalls and possible future problems will be avoided. I think everyone would agree that it is easier to prevent a problem than to have to fix it later. This is one of the benefits of applying these principles of consciousness to your life.

Applying the principles of consciousness to your life can have far-reaching implications as it affects the life you create for yourself. The principle of energy follows thought is woven into these profound consequences. Managing your expectations of yourself and others can have a profound impact on your personal happiness and success. Conscious living can be its own reward.

So many of the tools that can enhance your life are found in striving for an understanding of the fullness of your life. Being a happy and successful human being is empowered by increasing your awareness of all that you can bring to your life by the integration of your body, your mind, your emotions and ultimately, your Soul.

It is this intention to live consciously that considering the principles of Harmlessness and Right Speech empowers. There are many ways you can influence your life and gain and maintain a happier and more prosperous life that are included in the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom. There are meditation tools and techniques that can help you transcend your fears. In fact, there are practices in meditation to resolve most of the challenges of living. Learning to use them and apply them in a variety of situations and circumstances can give you a real advantage over life.

Key issues of successful living can benefit and be brought into mastery through meditation. The range is as vast as life itself. I believe that life does not create challenges that cannot be resolved. The very fact that you are facing a particular issue or challenge is a sign that there is a lesson, method, practice or technique that can be applied to bring you to a definite solution. This goes for even some of the most difficult issues.

Miraculously, each lesson builds on what I have learned before. I am given the opportunity to demonstrate what I have learned and to avoid mistakes I have made previously. This is a dynamic, ongoing process. Ponder on this!

I have found along the way that some of the life’s lessons are simple, once they have been learned. Even if they are simple, does not make them easy. Simple and easy seem to be two very different things. To apply what I have learned and then integrate it into action and relationships makes it real.

Not surprisingly, I have found that my personal struggles, issues, and challenges are also the struggles, issues, and challenges of others. Therefore, what I have learned through trial and error can be provided to help others gain mastery and success. This motivates me to create, write and teach on an ongoing basis. When what I have produced in my body of work helps you and serves others, it gives me a sense of great satisfaction and joy.

Joy, delight, and fulfilling the purpose of your Soul are a significant part of why the adventure of life was created. It seems that we are each on a quest to enlightened awareness. Although it is a personal journey, we travel it together for our mutual success and advantage.

That makes these principles of Harmlessness and Right Speech of paramount importance. It makes forgiveness, of others and as important forgiveness of ourselves essential. It makes releasing unrealistic expectations significant.

It makes eliminating negative criticism of others and oneself important. It focuses us on issues of Right Relationship and all that it entails crucial. It makes it essential that we understand the implications of how what we do affects others paramount.

In the human experience, a fellowship is available for mutual support and mutual benefit. That is the source of many of the greatest challenges and the greatest successes. It is in the awareness of our unity and common humanity that we can fulfill both our personal destiny and our group destiny as humanity.

Harmlessness and Right Speech are just rules of the road to help you live a happy and successful life. Therefore I suggest that you consider your actions and your speech in light of these principles and then observe how much happier and more successful you become.

Plato is said to have recommended this test to consider before you speak.

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it beneficial?

Apply this standard and incorporate these principles of Right Speech and Harmlessness as a test to what you say and do.

The supply of goodwill in the world today is limited only by the minds of human beings. According to the Ancient Teachings as shared by Alice A. Bailey, part of the Plan for this cycle is goodwill for all people, and through all people, goodwill.

The energy of the Will of God serves to awaken the latent Will-to-Good in the souls of all men and women. When dynamically awakened, this Will-to-Good will stimulate the expression of goodwill in all receptive hearts and minds.

Living consciously and incorporating these ancient wise principles can be cornerstones of your success and happiness. Please don’t forget that Goodwill is contagious, and once set in motion it will permeate the world consciousness so that right human relations can be more rapidly established.

Ways To Connect With Your Soul

Perhaps the most wonderful and inspiring experience you can have in meditation is to connect with your Soul.

When you connect with your Soul, also known as your Higher Self, you become aware of a part of yourself that is so glorious and magnificent that experiencing it is often transformational and profound.

To me, to connect with your Soul is the greatest gift of meditation.

IMPORTANT FACTORS

An important factor is how the regular practice of meditation actually makes it easier and easier to meditate. It is more than the old adage practice makes perfect. Each time you consciously, and with intention, connect to your Higher Self (your Soul), you are creating additional threads of energy that build a bridge to ease your passage.

Whenever you call upon the Light of the Soul for inspiration or guidance, you are building a bridge in consciousness from your personality to your Soul. In so doing you are making the wisdom of your Soul available to you.

You are able to tap into and expand your awareness and perspective to a much greater understanding of who and what you are and a much deeper understanding of the meaning and purpose of your life.

BENEFITS OF CONNECTING WITH YOUR SOUL

When you meditate regularly, invoke, and invite the Presence of your Soul to be an active and incorporated part of your life, you are raising the frequency of your mind and your physical body. This leads to an expanded awareness, and insights and clarity greater than you may have believed possible.

In addition, since the nature and essence of your Soul is pure love, increasing and inviting Soul connection into your life expands your experience of true love and increases your understanding and ability to love.

One of the other profound benefits of calling on your Soul in meditation is an awareness of the connection and interconnection of all of life. This expanded awareness is often accompanied by feelings of unity and purpose. It often fills you with a very deep joy. This sense of universal Oneness, with others and nature, can be a life-altering, magnificent experience of bliss.

USING RITUALS

Some find that the act of using rituals helps to prepare them for meditation. The primary purpose of preparing to meditate with a ritual is that the action of preparation serves to reinforce your conscious intention.

You can experiment with creating rituals that work for you. When you find one that you feel is of help, you can incorporate it into your meditation practice.

When you use a ritual the time and the effort of performing the ritual serves as a preparation and helps you be ready and receptive to the meditation process. An additional benefit of setting up a ritual is it serves the purpose of helping to quiet your mind chatter as you focus on the intent of your meditation time.

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to prepare for meditation. Although you may choose to set aside a specific amount of time for the meditation, this is all your choice and should be guided by what works for you and for your life.

Some rituals that have been helpful over the ages:

Lighting a white or gold candle. If you choose this, having a special or specific candle is usually recommended.
Burning incense (again choosing a specific scent is often helpful) although as you gain more experience with meditation you can change or shift that scent. Some choose the scent based on the desire for a specific energetic result. You may find some favorite scents that you associate with feeling peaceful or calm or feeling more empowered to reach the desired state of consciousness.
I begin all of my guided meditations with an instructional invocation:
Calm your mind, Open your Heart and Invite the Light.
Sitting quietly and receptively for some time before you start to meditate helps you quiet your mind and put everything behind you.

You can experiment with different rituals and see if they enhance the ease with which you become calm, and quiet your mind chatter so you can experience the presence of your Higher Self.

Setting aside a time daily to meditate, whether you choose to use mantrams, guided meditation experiences or affirmations or mindfulness techniques will empower you and enhance you.

Ageless Wisdom Mantram

A Mantram from the Ageless Wisdom that is often used to help you gain the wisdom of your Soul is:

May the energy of the Divine Self inspire me
and the Light of the Soul direct.
May I be led from darkness to Light,
from the unreal to the Real,
from death to Immortality.

Then, still holding your consciousness in the head and visualizing a sphere of deep electric blue, vivid and living, say the following words, endeavoring to realize their significance as you say them:

I stand in spiritual Being and, as a Soul, I serve.
I stand within the Light, and as the Light shines
throughout my form, I radiate that light.
I stand within the Love of God,
and as that Love streams through and from the heart,
I magnetise the ones I seek to aid.”

You can incorporate this mantram into a daily meditation, or it can be used as an affirmation of intention to connect with the Light of your Soul. This is a sacred time that you arrange, as much as possible, to be free of distractions or interruptions.

Regularity of the practice of meditation helps it become increasingly easy to give yourself the blessings and benefits of meditation. I can think of nothing else that provides so much opportunity for mastery, success, transformation and joy and takes such little effort.

Because meditation is such a powerful opportunity to grow and expand your consciousness, I recommend keeping a journal where you can record your insights and impressions. Writing or recording what you have received in mediation will be valuable to you over time so you can ponder, look back over, and appreciate the ways you have improved your life adventure.
