Love Is The Meaning of Christmas

Christmas is a time to express our love for others. We do this often with the sharing of gifts and trinkets.

This pressure to give gifts, the stress of finding the right gift, and the pressure to spend resources has resulted in Christmas often being seen as more of a commercial event rather than the spiritual love that we know is the deeper meaning of Christmas.

We get caught up in the pressure of presents, shopping and acquiring, decorating, cooking, and celebrating. When we do this, it is easy to forget that love is the motivation for all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

Express Your Love To Those You Love

So, as we prepare for the festivities of Christmas let us take the time to express our love to those we love and to express our gratitude for the incredible abundance we already have. Let us remember the love that motivates the busyness and activity of the season.

Let us consider how blessed we already are.

Let us remember that telling the people we love that we love them and appreciate them is a gift that lasts longer than any shiny bauble you can give.
