It Is Never Too Late to Claim Your Destiny
From your times of childhood dreams and desires, a sense of destiny may have teased your mind.
Throughout your life, you may have argued with yourself to put aside those thoughts of destiny, telling yourself that, “life is what happens to you.” I believe the rest of that statement is, “while you are making other plans.”
Indeed, a great deal happens in life! If you simply expected life to lead your destiny it may seem fulfilling that sense of destiny was possible when you dared to dream.
But then life happened. You made choices that didn’t work out the way you planned. You made mistakes. You began to no longer trust yourself, or more seriously to trust your life to lead you to your destiny. You may have lost hope, become discouraged, become complacent, or even contented.
What do you feel it is that keeps holding you back?
Is it the things that people have said you are not good at?
Is it something people have told you that you lack?
Is it a personal characteristic or physical trait that you are subconscious of?

After all, you may have thought and reasoned, those were childhood dreams, childhood images, and you are now an adult. You have put away childish things. Life, you thought, is what is happening, good or bad, positive or negative, it is what is real. Dreams, and certainly dreams or a sense of destiny guiding and even directing you, are not really real.
Yet for some strange reason, in the quiet recesses of your mind, in the undirected and undisciplined mind chatter, you find fragments of those childhood dreams and that sense of destiny compelling you, and you may find a bittersweet tear in your eye as you smile and morn the dream that has never manifested in your life.
You may conclude that it is too late for your life to change. You may think that the die has been cast. If you believe in such things, you may even sigh and say, “well, maybe next life.”
As I am meditating and pondering on destiny, I am aware that as long as there is life, there is hope.

I am reminded of the powerful and impersonal law of the Universe that “energy follows thought.” And I am aware that the sense of destiny that formed so many childhood fantasies and dreams is so often the initial contact of your Soul revealing to you your life’s purpose.
As I write these words and go deeper into these thoughts of my mind and of my Soul, about destiny, I am reminded that within these childhood daydreams there may be, for many, a first contact and subtle connection with an Angel, an Angel who foretold or forecast about your future and destiny.
A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.

As I ponder and consider destiny and Soul purpose, I am reminded that it is never too late to fulfill your Soul purpose. I ask you to stop and pause and take a few moments to dream and remember what you once dared to think and dream about your life and about your purpose before you made the compromises or accepted the limiting beliefs that structure your reality today.
I ask you to pause to ask yourself when and why you left your dreams and your sense of destiny behind.
I ask you to meditate upon and consider what you feel your Soul is directing you toward. I invite you to “calm your mind, open your heart, and invite the Light.”
As you do this, I encourage you to open your mind and your heart to new possibilities.
I invite you to open to and consider new opportunities.
I ask you to imagine any limiting beliefs falling away from you and gathering around your feet like old used and dirty clothes. As they lie there on the ground imagine the breeze of an Angel stirring them, as they gather into scraps of flotsam and jetsam and form into a white bird as they take wing and fly away across a clear blue sky until they have flown out of site and are no longer in the field of your thoughts.
I invite and encourage you to, with a calm mind and open heart, invite into your awareness the Light of your Soul and let it spark your intuition and inspiration to reaffirm and align your life with your Soul purpose no matter what the situation or circumstances in which you currently find yourself, right here, right now, today.
I ask you to consciously invite your Soul to claim your destiny and align you will with your Soul purpose as you affirm and confirm with the words of power:

I invite you to do the following guided visualization and claim your destiny today.
Aligning & Igniting with Your Soul Purpose
Take a moment to decide that you desire to live out the balance of your days aligning with and fulfilling your destiny.
Gather your journal and sit and quietly let your mind drop your everyday focus. Let yourself dream. Let your imagination be free.
Take in a very deep and relaxing breath and let your body surrender to the support of your chair, realizing you are being supported by the chair, which is supported by the floor, which is supported by the earth. This support is available to you through the Law of Gravity and is part of the support you receive as a child of God. It is one of many natural laws that are available to help you manifest your dreams.
Take in another deep breath imagining you are, with that breath, inviting the Light of your Soul to ignite your intuition and enflame your inspiration.
For a brief span of moments, suspend judgments and relax your logical mind. Release with a deep and relaxing breath all criticism of yourself. Let blame go. Let yourself just be and let your mind be free.
Continue drawing in deep, relaxing, and fulfilling breaths, as you, with each exhale, release any fears that may emerge or any thoughts that may be discouraging as you simply draw upon the resources of your Higher Self (your Soul) to empower your life.
Take the time to build a pathway of Light from the top of your head to your heart. Imagine that Light is infused and ignited by a Light above your head that glows with the radiance of your Soul. As you breathe in, imagine that Light igniting and inspiring your imagination. See that Light stimulating your creativity.
With your exhale as you release your breath, consciously and with intention put the past behind you. As you do this, realize you are releasing old bonds that have held you. Let them go!
Now, as you draw in a new breath, bring with it from the unlimited abundance of the force of life itself all that you need to manifest in your life your destiny.
Bring the energy deep into your heart and ponder on and consider what truly is your heart’s desire. Imagine that desire expanding the breadth and reach of your heart.
For a cycle to 3 or more breaths, let your energy circulate and stimulate the path from your Soul to the top of your head and then to your heart. As you sit with that circulation, allow your energy to continue to release self-criticism and judgment and let yourself absorb and enjoy the free flow of freedom that inspires and ignites your creativity.
This moment, this meditation offers you new opportunities. And since you have released the past and entered into the present, you are standing on a threshold of possibilities that have never been before. The energy of this moment, this Now is new. Claim it. Create with it what is your Soul purpose, what is your life purpose, what you now dare to dream, and only in the NOW dare to do.
Sit quietly and calmly merely breathing in and breathing out allowing and accepting the wisdom of your Soul to infuse you until you feel ready to return to the requirements and routines of your life assured that there are new possibilities and new opportunities that you can claim and incorporate into your life as you move forward.
Before you leave this experience behind, please take a few moments to record the thoughts you have had, the ideas that have emerged from the chatter of your mind, aware that within them may well be the wisdom of your Soul and the guiding whisper of your Angels.
Last, offer gratitude and appreciation for your experience in this mediation and then go forth and consider all the ideas and impressions you have received.

Let Your Dream Grow
Your destiny does not always reveal itself overnight. Don’t expect to make one significant change in your life and see the results the next day. These insights into your destiny and the actions you take in life take time. You have to let your Soul do its work and you also have to let the universe do its thing. Just remember, today is truly the first day of the rest of your life.
