To Commune with Angels

This article is part of my on-going series on Angels.

There are many kinds of Angels that inhabit our world.

Some Angels work with your Soul to provide what you need as a way of providing Divine support and guidance along your life’s adventure.  These Angels I often refer to as “Guiding Angels.”  Among these, and perhaps the best known angelic presence in your life is your Guardian Angel.

Certainly, your Guardian Angel is the Angel that is most aware of and attuned to your earth adventure.  Your Guardian Angel is aligned with your Soul in the process of creation of your specific life experience. 

From the miracle of creation that started with the spark of Divine Light of your Soul and gave you the breath of life and activated your birth, Angels are available to you.

With their understanding of Divine Will, Divine Purpose and the overall plan for humanity, their support and guidance are activated in your life at birth. 

When To Commune With Angels

Because your Angels are an unfettered source of experiencing and receiving Divine Love there are special times in your life when it is encouraged that you consciously commune with your Angles for help.

When Looking For Help, Comfort, and Divine Insight

Angels serve as messengers of Divine insight.  In fact, the very name Angel means messenger of God.

They are available to put you in touch with energies that are beyond the material, for they reside as spirit.  They can help you expand your conscious awareness of the world of spirit by their Presence.

Among the ways that the Angels’ commune with you are sensations.  As Angels are beings of Spirit they are aligned with Divine Love, so the sensation of being completely enfolded in endless and totally unconditional love is why when communing with your Angels you may feel comforted, supported, and sustained.

Remember there is a partnership with your Soul and your Angels.  This partnership never deviates from working for what is congruent with Divine Will, Divine Purpose, and your Soul purpose for your life.

No matter how much you may cry out to manifest the desires of your personality or to feed and preen your ego, that is not what your Angels are about.  Within you, as is true within every human being, is a dual awareness, a merger of matter and spirit, physical and spiritual, temporal and eternal.

The Angels understand those dual forces are in your nature, but as beings of spirit and light, they do not experience the pain of human desire.  They are constantly aligned with the eternal perspective and can use that alignment to provide more of that conscious awareness to you.

To call upon your Angels for help, comfort, strength, and support is always possible and encouraged as long as you remember that your personal will, your free will, is your responsibility.  Angels cannot and will not interfere in personality issues.

Loss of A Loved One

 

When you have lost someone you loved is a particularly effective time for Angels to make their Presence felt in your conscious awareness because they are naturally aligned with the Soul Plane.

Their Presence can serve as a comforting bridge through which the bond of love can exist between your Soul and the Soul of your departed loved one.  The Angels can help intensify the energy of love as an act of their love, the love of your departed and Divine Love.  This is a powerful time and way to experience Angels in your life.

Of course, being human and thus having free will you can choose how much of that “Love Connection” you wish to experience at any time.  The comfort that comes from the Angels at the time of the death of a loved one is so powerful and profound that I call them “Comforting Angels.”  Their ability to hone the sensation of Divine Love so that it can be felt and experienced in the human experience is amazing.

When praying for someone who is suffering from the grief of the death of a loved one, I often request and invoke their Presence for the one who is grieving.  By invoking the attention of the Angels for the one who is dealing with this life challenge I feel that I am able to provide some small support and comfort not matter if I am physically close or far.  The calling upon Angels is a way of extending my love across the miles.

When You Want To Experience the Meaning of Love

One of the most significant purposes for which Angels are available in human life is as a source of helping a human being experience Love, and by this, I mean Divine Love, unconditional and untinged by need or desire.

The ability for humanity to learn to love is a key element in God’s Divine Plan.

Love is the unifying force between the worlds of spirit and matter. Love lets us use matter for expression but remains free of matter in its manifestation.  This is a mystery worth pondering.

That Divine Love is received through angelic Presence makes sense, since Angels have been perceived as the messengers of God since time immemorial. 

Angels are also believed to be the primary residents of heaven.  Yet it is their role and works with humanity that is for me the most exciting part of the relationship between the angelic and human experience.

It gives me great comfort to know that the forces of Love have a host of angel assistants to help humanity in learning what love is because it seems to me that learning to love is job one for humanity.  And that is not an easy task for a material being to learn.  Physical desires and the fabled desires of the flesh can be a challenge for every human being, through every single life.

Love can be expressed through those physical desires through sexuality and passion, but love, real love is spiritual and eternal.  The sexuality and attachment to the physical form of another may open you to Love, but the real bond of Love is formed in the spiritual and eternal aspect of life, Soul to Soul.

When You Want To Get In Touch With Your Soul

When in the course of life’s experience, the temporal nature of life results in the loss and death of the one you love, the Angels can serve as a bridge to awareness of your Soul, and the Soul of your beloved which at death has become fully spirit as it shed the material body it inhabited for a time.

We’ve never had to look far to find our angels. Angels have never really been out of reach. We can always discover angels from the inside-out because it is the angel inside us who can point the way to all our other angels.

This is also true of the place where the Soul resides.  Spirit is unfettered by the rules or needs of matter.  As you commune with the Angels, and as you become increasingly aware of your Soul as a part of your human anatomy, this different spiritual perspective becomes more real to you.

Remember going forward that Angels can help you learn about your Soul and understand and touch your Soul every day.

It may have been to provide physical protection.  It may have been to intuitive inspiration.  It may have been to provide strength and courage in times of sorrow or adversity.  Know that your Angels are always around and you can commune with them if you quiet the chatter and open yourself to their subtle presence.
