Ways To Connect With Your Soul

Ways To Connect With Your Soul

Read Ways To Connect With Your Soul by Genevieve Gerard

Perhaps the most wonderful and inspiring experience you can have in meditation is to connect with your Soul.

When you connect with your Soul, also known as your Higher Self, you become aware of a part of yourself that is so glorious and magnificent that experiencing it is often transformational and profound.

To me, to connect with your Soul is the greatest gift of meditation.

IMPORTANT FACTORS

An important factor is how the regular practice of meditation actually makes it easier and easier to meditate. It is more than the old adage practice makes perfect. Each time you consciously, and with intention, connect to your Higher Self (your Soul), you are creating additional threads of energy that build a bridge to ease your passage.

Whenever you call upon the Light of the Soul for inspiration or guidance, you are building a bridge in consciousness from your personality to your Soul. In so doing you are making the wisdom of your Soul available to you.
      – Genevieve Gerard

You are able to tap into and expand your awareness and perspective to a much greater understanding of who and what you are and a much deeper understanding of the meaning and purpose of your life.

BENEFITS OF CONNECTING WITH YOUR SOUL

Connecting with Soul Light by Genevieve Gerard

When you meditate regularly, invoke, and invite the Presence of your Soul to be an active and incorporated part of your life, you are raising the frequency of your mind and your physical body. This leads to an expanded awareness, and insights and clarity greater than you may have believed possible.

In addition, since the nature and essence of your Soul is pure love, increasing and inviting Soul connection into your life expands your experience of true love and increases your understanding and ability to love.

One of the other profound benefits of calling on your Soul in meditation is an awareness of the connection and interconnection of all of life. This expanded awareness is often accompanied by feelings of unity and purpose. It often fills you with a very deep joy. This sense of universal Oneness, with others and nature, can be a life-altering, magnificent experience of bliss.

USING RITUALS

Some find that the act of using rituals helps to prepare them for meditation. The primary purpose of preparing to meditate with a ritual is that the action of preparation serves to reinforce your conscious intention.

You can experiment with creating rituals that work for you. When you find one that you feel is of help, you can incorporate it into your meditation practice.

When you use a ritual the time and the effort of performing the ritual serves as a preparation and helps you be ready and receptive to the meditation process. An additional benefit of setting up a ritual is it serves the purpose of helping to quiet your mind chatter as you focus on the intent of your meditation time.

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to prepare for meditation. Although you may choose to set aside a specific amount of time for the meditation, this is all your choice and should be guided by what works for you and for your life.

Some rituals that have been helpful over the ages:

  1. Lighting a white or gold candle. If you choose this, having a special or specific candle is usually recommended.
  2. Burning incense (again choosing a specific scent is often helpful) although as you gain more experience with meditation you can change or shift that scent. Some choose the scent based on the desire for a specific energetic result. You may find some favorite scents that you associate with feeling peaceful or calm or feeling more empowered to reach the desired state of consciousness.
  3. I begin all of my guided meditations with an instructional invocation:
Calm your mind, Open your Heart and Invite the Light.
  4. Sitting quietly and receptively for some time before you start to meditate helps you quiet your mind and put everything behind you.

You can experiment with different rituals and see if they enhance the ease with which you become calm, and quiet your mind chatter so you can experience the presence of your Higher Self.

Setting aside a time daily to meditate, whether you choose to use mantrams, guided meditation experiences or affirmations or mindfulness techniques will empower you and enhance you.

Ageless Wisdom Mantram

A Mantram from the Ageless Wisdom that is often used to help you gain the wisdom of your Soul is:

May the energy of the Divine Self inspire me
and the Light of the Soul direct.
May I be led from darkness to Light,
from the unreal to the Real,
from death to Immortality.

Then, still holding your consciousness in the head and visualizing a sphere of deep electric blue, vivid and living, say the following words, endeavoring to realize their significance as you say them:

I stand in spiritual Being and, as a Soul, I serve.
I stand within the Light, and as the Light shines
throughout my form, I radiate that light.
I stand within the Love of God,
and as that Love streams through and from the heart,
I magnetise the ones I seek to aid.”
      – Alice A. Bailey, Djwhal Khul “Discipleship in the New Age: Vol I” p.306

You can incorporate this mantram into a daily meditation, or it can be used as an affirmation of intention to connect with the Light of your Soul. This is a sacred time that you arrange, as much as possible, to be free of distractions or interruptions.

Regularity of the practice of meditation helps it become increasingly easy to give yourself the blessings and benefits of meditation. I can think of nothing else that provides so much opportunity for mastery, success, transformation and joy and takes such little effort.

Because meditation is such a powerful opportunity to grow and expand your consciousness, I recommend keeping a journal where you can record your insights and impressions. Writing or recording what you have received in mediation will be valuable to you over time so you can ponder, look back over, and appreciate the ways you have improved your life adventure.

Namaste,

Genevieve

Ways to Use Affirmations

Ways to Use Affirmations to Transform Your Life

Ways To Use Powerful Affirmations | Genevieve Gerard

Affirmations are a powerful tool you can use to help you transform your life.

When you use an affirmation you are consciously deciding what you want and then activating the energy to help it manifest.

What you are affirming is activated energetically to enable your affirmation to become true. That is how it works. That is why it works.

When you use an affirmation, you are also affirming the truth of your role as a co-creator in your life.

According to Wikipedia, affirmations in New Thought and New Age terminology refer primarily to the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment—fostering a belief that “a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything.” More specifically, an affirmation is a carefully formatted statement that should be repeated to one’s self and written down frequently. For an affirmation to be effective, it needs to be present tense, positive, personal and specific.

Through affirmations, you engage a number of very important universal laws and principles. One of the most popular of the universal laws that affirmations utilize is the Law of Attraction. The other important factor when you use an affirmation is that energy follows thought. The very decision to invoke an affirmation in your desire to transform your life begins an energetic force of subtle energies to bring about what you are affirming into manifestation.

When you identify with something, especially when you make an evocative declaration, by an “I am” statement, you are guiding and directing things to what you desire. This becomes an important factor in your self-talk. You then begin to think in a way that is congruent with that affirmation and feel in a way that is congruent with what you are affirming.

Using positive affirmations can help you achieve a specific state of mind or state of consciousness.

To demonstrate this point let us try a very quick experiment.

Say to yourself in your mind:
I am at peace.

Then truly believing what you are saying,
repeat that phrase in your mind three more times.

I am at peace.
I am at peace.
I am at peace.

Do you feel more peaceful and calm? Almost everyone does. This is a very simple and easy technique you can use to calm your mind and your body by using an affirmation.

Affirmations can be extremely helpful in the art of transforming your life when you target them to strengthen an area where you realize you need to expand or enhance a specific quality in yourself.

When using an affirmation in this way you can magnify the effectiveness of the desired change by placing the affirmation on the mirror and then observe yourself saying the affirmation. This works on multiple levels.

  1. You identify with your image in the mirror.
  2. An affirmation is most effective when you resonate with it emotionally as well as with your mind.
  3. Saying an affirmation before a mirror activates your will by focusing your creative power to help what you are affirming manifest.

I Am Calm Centered and Confident Meme by Genevieve Gerard

Memes, especially those with a picture that evoke a strong and positive emotion that is congruent with the words of the affirmation are a good way to use affirmations.

Likewise, having positive affirmations played in the background while you are doing other things can do a great deal to empower you. Your subconscious is easiest to influence when your mind is busy with other tasks. The success of this method of using affirmations was a primary factor in my creation of my affirmations for abundance CDs, Soaring to Success and Awaken to Success. You are in complete control to pick which of the affirmations you like to listen to (there are no subliminal embedded audio in any of my products.) See the link at the end of this post.

These work especially well as a tool you can use while you travel to work or go on any errands.

There is both an art and a science to using affirmations. Using an affirmation is most effective when you create and say the affirmation with all levels and layers of your being.

  1. An affirmation is a way of activating your co-creator role in your life in unity with the Divine, so you want what you are affirming to be aligned with your life purpose and Soul purpose and be realistically attainable.
  2. An affirmation activates the dynamic energy of thought reflected in the wisdom: “As a man thinks, so he is.”
  3. An affirmation emerges from your desire and therefore activates your will to do, in cooperation with your will to be.
  4. To then behave in a way that is congruent with what you are affirming empowers you by “Acting as If” you have already achieved what you are affirming.
  5. It is great to affirm what you need and desire however, you still need to take action on those thoughts to attain your ultimate outcome.

This incorporation of your mind, emotions and then action, aligned with your Higher Self and your life purpose is an integrated way to empower your life and bring about the transformations and change that you have chosen.

Using affirmations is a powerful way for you to gain mastery over your life. When you resolve to make your life better, affirmations are an instrument you can use to increase your effectiveness to live the life of your dreams.

As a gift to you and to support you in this quest, I want you to have instant access to a downloadable meme that I created for you that you can post on your mirror, place in your car or on your desk, or anywhere that it can serve as a reminder to you of what you are transforming and affirming in your life. [Click on link above and then on a PC right mouse click on image and choose save as.]

I invite you to remember as you affirm that:

You are the most important person you will talk with today.”
      – Zig Ziegler

What you think especially about yourself is important. Using affirmations to help you be the person you want to be and want to become is a reminder that you are the director and creative force in your life.

Affirmations are a tool to help focus and direct your attention into specific areas where you have determined you could use a little help and support in your process of growing and becoming. They are simple to use and easy to do and they put immense power at your disposal to be all that you are meant to be and all that you want to be.

You might find it helpful to keep the affirmations you have chosen to focus upon in a journal. This way you can find a quick reference to the affirmations you are currently working on, and have a way that you can look back upon the ways you have been successful in transforming your life.

Namaste,

Genevieve

Ways To Heal Yourself

Ways to Heal Yourself

Read Ways to Heal Yourself article by Genevieve Gerard

This is another article in my on-going series on Healing.

Healing happens on many levels of your being.

As you consider your life and all that has preceded this moment of time, I invite you to explore ways you can heal your life.

As long as there is life, self-healing is always possible. Healing is the highest manifestation of life itself.

To consider how you can heal yourself, you must contemplate how healing happens not only in your body but also in your emotions and your mind.

This threefold aspect of healing is ultimately under the guidance and direction of a higher source, your Soul. Therefore, it is through your connection with your Soul, that you can heal from any situation.

I know this is a bold statement, but I make it based on many years as a counselor helping others through the darkness into the light of new possibilities.

It is a deep truth that as long as there is life, there is hope.
      – Genevieve Gerard

No matter what has happened to you in your life, you can heal.

Sometimes the darkness in your life is physical, such as a catastrophic injury. Sometimes it is emotional devastation, based on things you have seen or experienced. Sometimes it is the memories that the mind continues to replay that bring events from the past into the present. Sometimes it is dreams that haunt you.

No matter what has occurred in your life, there are a variety of techniques that were taught to me in the mysteries of the Ageless Wisdom that you can learn to use to transform, transmute and transcend what has happened in your life. This will enable you to open to the possibilities of a future which has not yet formed, which is in a process of being created and coming into active manifestation.

Steps You Can Take To Heal Yourself

Learn to Meditate

Meditation can play a vital role in helping you to heal.

In the last five years there have been volumes written in the medical journals, which have finally talked about the positive effects that meditation can play in your healing.

Meditation can help us embrace our worries, our fear, our anger; and that is very healing. We let our own natural capacity of healing do the work.
      – Thich Nhat Hanh

It is through meditation that you can find a portal to your Soul, which is such a powerful and dynamic part of your essence that it can facilitate your healing. Ultimately, the Souls energy provides healing at the highest level.

Fortunately, your Soul is an integral part of you, a part of you that stands ready, willing and able to help you gain mastery of your body-mind and emotions. Opening to this Presence is the first step of joining with your Soul.

This opening can be as simple as to sit quietly as you calm your mind, open your heart and invite the Light.

There are many guided meditations available that can provide you with self-healing techniques. It is not as important which products you use, as much as it is that you meditate.

Live In the Moment

An essential part of healing is bringing your awareness and consciousness into the present moment.

That is why an important step in healing your life is to let the past be passed. This may not always be easy to do; however, careful consideration will reveal that the past truly is passed and no good is served by living in your rearview mirror.

Understanding that living in the NOW is the truth that will set you free of the past is a powerful release. It is something that can support and help to integrate your healing. It is a reality that you can use to transform your life.

When you make that step in your consciousness, you are making an important step in allowing healing.

Reduce Negative Self Talk

Another important step forward in your healing is to release yourself from the all too damaging dynamic of reliving the past. Replaying past events in your mind only invites the event into the present and brings out your inner critic.

No good is served by reviewing, rewinding and reliving what happened. It is now in the past. You are free from it if you will let yourself be free. I invite and encourage you to do so.

Forgive Yourself and Others

To forgive yourself is an important step in healing. To forgive yourself opens you to a future that is still unformed and uncreated. In that future, you can be a force for great good in the world. In that future, you will be presented with choices. What you choose will ultimately be a greater determination of the value of your life than anything will that has proceeded this moment of forgiveness.

No matter what may have happened in your past you can heal. Whatever sorrows you may have suffered make your ability to be compassionate have a greater depth and breadth than those who have never known loss and sorrow.

This may not seem possible but since your Soul is by its very existence a part of the Divine it is composed of love and grace. Forgiveness is entirely possible at the Soul level, even though your personality might consider individual acts unforgivable. It is your Soul that does the healing.

In the words of the old spiritual, “there is no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.” Therefore, to ask for forgiveness is one of the steps in your healing and when you ask, do it by the full faith and confidence that nothing is unforgivable no matter how it might seem.

However, even more important is to accept grace and forgiveness. The nature of grace is that it has absolutely nothing to do with deserving it or being worthy. This grace is a part of divinity that may be beyond our human comprehension.

It is my experience that to allow the blessing of healing and forgiveness in your life, you must truly forgive yourself. This is not always easy, however; I know it is always possible. It is in this task that the healing power of your Soul can have the most power. Realizing that the past is passed helps. This is a simple fact that cannot be denied. Let yourself have the relief and release that this deep understanding about life gives.

Check out How To Forgive Yourself: Let Go Of The Past and Release Your Pain and Sorrow guided meditation by Genevieve Gerard

To assist in your process of forgiving yourself, let me walk you through a guided meditation on How to Forgive Yourself: Release and Let Go Of The Past, Forgive Yourself, Heal and Move On From Painful Events.

Forgiveness is powerful and profound. It may even have multiple layers to it. Each knot that is unraveled and released by forgiveness is freeing. It may involve forgiving others you know. It may mean forgiving yourself and others that you don’t even know personally but may have been involved. No matter how many layers there are, ultimately it is possible.

Now is the time to start unraveling the knots and layers that may have you bound to the past. You can do it!

The Soul’s Role

There is a Mantra called the Mantram of Unification that I love. In it are the words that for me have always spoken to how important your Soul integration is, “Let the Soul control the outer form, and life and all events, and bring to Light the Love that underlies the happenings of the times.”

No matter what you may have feared. No matter what experiences you have lived through, your Soul has been with you through it. Whatever turmoil, no matter how terrible or tortured it may have been; there is nothing you have ever done or can ever do that will separate you from your Soul.

Whatever damage you may have suffered as a body, emotionally, in your mind or personality, your Soul, which is your spark of Divine Essence, cannot be harmed. It is always with you and can always be called upon to help you heal your life.

No matter how much you may have rejected or avoided its presence in your life it is ready willing and able to assist with your healing. It awaits your invitation to demonstrate its healing power.

The nature of your Soul is eternal. The essence of your Soul is Love.

Use Your Soul to Heal Your Life

There is a purpose to your life. There is a reason you are still here and alive. Therefore, it is to your Soul that I direct your attention. You can invite it, invoke it and use it to heal your life.

Because free will is a universal law, invitation to your Soul and invocation are necessary steps in opening your consciousness to the Presence of your Soul. Because your Soul is integral to your healing, consciously doing the steps (previously mentioned) to bring you greater awareness of your Soul (as a dynamic and powerful force in your life) is important.

Healing your life will allow you to fulfill your life purpose, which may bring about great good in the world. This is the unlimited possibility and potential that comes with your unformed, and yet, uncreated future.

When the past is relegated to the past, you are taking a progressive step forward. You can change your life. The more you release your anger, the more you forgive, the more you bring in the Light of your Soul to guide your next steps, the more you open yourself to enjoy the new possibilities and unlimited potential that are now unfolding and emerging for your life.

This ongoing and constant renewal of life give the promise of a future that is different from whatever may have happened before. Change is always possible. Healing is always possible. This freedom is inherent in life. It may not be easy, but it is always possible.

Open your life to the healing power and the transforming energy of your Soul. Heal your life of the residuals of past traumas to bring you to the new day that is available for you.

As the expression of folk wisdom affirms, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.”

Choose to embrace the possibility and promise of the rest of your life by inviting and accepting healing into your life.

Namaste,

Ways To Relieve Stress

Ways to Relieve Stress

No Matter Where You Are or What You Are Doing

Ways To Relieve Stress blog post by Genevieve Gerard

Today you are going to learn quick and easy ways to relieve stress.

First, know that your body gives you tools you can use to overcome stress.

Second, your mind can be used to modify stress.

Third and most important, you don’t have to let stress become distressful. Stress is a normal part of living.

Stress is one of the places you can most see the mind-body relationship active. Because of that you can learn to both control and gain mastery over stress. To conquer your stress, it helps to understand how your mind and your body can best work together.

When thinking about stress you can see that stress has always been a part of life. From the earliest evolution of life, stress has been a reality of life. The stress that is created by the needs of human life for survival has existed since the dawn of time. The fulfillment of those needs fuels most of the stress today.

Educational Psychologist Abraham Maslow created a hierarchy of human needs that explains this relationship brilliantly.

Maslow Hierarchy of Needs leads to reduced stress
Maslow Hierarchy of Needs

The most basic of human needs are food, water, sleep and breathing. Fulfilling those needs for yourself and your family remain the primary causes of stress. Likewise the need for safety and shelter from the elements is a universal need. The failure to manifest those needs threatens survival and can cause stress.

Yet, once those steps of food and water, safety and shelter have been satisfied you can move onto needs over which you have more control. Those first two steps on the pyramid as identified by Maslow are so basically physiological that unless they are achieved they remain the primary needs.

However, even within these very basic needs are decisions and choices that can certainly affect how much you stress. In truth, it is the way you choose to fulfill those needs that create lots of stress. Therefore, discriminating between need and want becomes an important aspect of learning to manage your stress.

I do not wish to be naive or cavalier in considering this factor. Indeed, as the old folk saying reveals, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”

So much stress is created by the failure to determine whether something is a need or want.
       – Genevieve Gerard

Ponder on this statement.

Being proactive in your choices about the commitments you make is an important way to limit your stress, however; although that is about avoiding future stress. It is more important to find ways to relieve the stress that is challenging you today.

10 Ways To Relieve Stress

Here are some quick ways you can learn to use your mind-body relationship to release stress and be more relaxed and centered, that you can do anytime and anywhere when you start to feel stressed.

1. Learn From Your Lessons. Whatever choices you have made, mistakes or errors of judgment, evaluate them and then let them go. They are as of this moment, now in the past. Let them be in the past. You now have new decisions and choices that require your attention.

2. Let Go of The Past by taking a deep lung expanding bottomless breath as you exhale. This works as a subtle physiological factor that uses the important mind-body relationship to release and relieve your stress.

3. Forgive Yourself and open yourself to receive what the unlimited potential of life is bringing to you.

4. Forgive Anyone Else from whom you are estranged.

5. Say A Positive Affirmation with your whole heart, mind, and Soul. (You may wish to have some favorite pre-chosen for just this purpose.)

6. Consider Your Perspective, is there a shift you need to consider that will shift what you are thinking or feeling.

7. Ask yourself “Are My Expectations Realistic.” You are not perfect and you do not need to be perfect.

8. Monitor Your Thoughts, reframe, and re-write any “Stinking Thinking.” There is a positive side and a negative, side so it is up to you to decide.

9. Look Around You and find something for which you are grateful. Then express that gratitude deep into your heart and mind.

10. Free Your Emotions to find your centered calm. Let go of your hurts and your anger to let yourself clear away any negativity. Open yourself to what life is opening up before you that has never been before.

Once a day give yourself the Gift of Relaxation. If you take the time each day to do a 10-15 minute meditation or visualization to let your body and your mind deeply relax you can move through your day more easily before the little things can accumulate and become a primary focus of your time and attention. This once a day helps to reset and re-establish a calm baseline.

Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift.
That’s why they call it the present.”

All Souls Day

All Souls Day

– Experience it with a Meditation to Celebrate Love

What Day Is All Souls Day, article by Genevieve Gerard

Did you
know that Halloween is a trilogy?

The first is Halloween, October 31.

The second All Saints Day, November 1.

And the third All Souls Day, November 2.

All Souls Day caught my interest because helping you experience and get in touch with the power and glory of your Soul is one of the primary purposes of my writing. So, it seems the perfect day to create a new meditation. A meditation that celebrates love and a meditation that will help you experience the eternal nature of the bond of love.

Since my post was so close to All Souls Day, it seemed like serendipity to write a special visualization to guide you, using meditation, to connect with the love of those who have passed away.

This is going to be a variation on the typical religious tradition of All Souls Day, which has traditionally focused upon prayers for the dearly departed. It is going to be a meditation that celebrates the very best of life, which is love.

Love one another, but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your Souls.
        – Khalil Gibran

The reason this meditation works is that when you truly love someone, it is an act of the Soul. The bond that is eternal is a bond of Soul to Soul. This is the miracle of love that allows you to transcend both time and space and creates a bond that has no limitations.

It is to this realm of the Soul, where you are an unlimited being, that this meditation will guide you today. It is as Soul consciousness that you can cross the barrier between life and death and touch eternity.

Your Soul is the eternal essence of your spiritual anatomy. This is true for everyone’s Soul. The nature of the Soul is Love, so we use this meditation to open you to the Presence of your Soul and the connection with a Soul of one who does not currently inhabit a body and resides in eternity. This is not only possible but can be a profound experience.

Many people, probably most people, believe that those they have loved who are passed on are still in some mysterious way still present in their lives. This might be as angels who watch over them from Heaven or as a Presence in dreams. Whatever your belief is, it does not interfere with the experience of this meditation. I ask you not to let your mind get bogged down in beliefs and theology and instead open your heart and your mind to what you experience and let your inner guide and arbiter of truth make judgments only after your experience.

This meditation is done from the consciousness of your Soul. Although you bring to this experience the awareness of your whole anatomy, you are meditating as a Soul, and you are connecting through the realm of the Soul that has its essence and nature that is distinctly different from the dense material world but just as real.

You may have already experienced this realm when you used the Mantram I gave in my post “Understanding Mantras,” or in my post “An Invitation to Your Soul.” You may have opened your consciousness to the realm of your Soul regularly when you meditated or prayed or invited the Presence of Angels.

A significant step in moving from the material realm to the spiritual reality is your awareness and the intention to do so. This is a critical step because the realities of the world of matter and the world of spirit are very different and it is essential to keep clear in your mind where you are focusing your awareness. In that sense, the clear invocation of intention acts as a protective barrier to keep the awareness of the material and awareness of the spiritual separate. No one wants to see a departed loved one walking up to you when you are engaged in your normal life, no matter how much you may have loved them.

With this meditation, you are safely opening yourself, with your intention, to both your Soul and the Soul Presence of someone who has already crossed over from life to death or eternal life, whichever definition you wish to use. Please keep this focus of Soul connection clear in your mind. It is important.

A Meditation to Celebrate Love

STEP 1:

To begin, Calm Your Mind, Open your Heart, and Invite the Light. Put all of your concerns behind you, knowing that you can come back to anything you were doing, if you like, after the meditation. This is now a special time, a sacred time to be open to Love and your Soul.

STEP 2:

Relax your body as completely as you can. As you relax become aware of your breath. Make no attempt to control your breath. Right now, just observe.

You might notice as you observe that there is a natural weight to your physical body as you realize that you are supported by your seat, which is supported by the floor, which is supported by the earth. Therefore, you find your support on the earth.
You could observe that the pull of gravity is available to help you relax as you realize that it is always available to support you and help you when you wish to meditate.

Continue deeper, as you relax even more and prepare for meditation; continue to observe your relaxing breath in a detached way. You might notice the natural rise and fall of your chest as you breathe. You might observe that your breath is natural and spontaneous and requires no direction from your conscious mind.

You could notice that the air that you breathe in is cool and the air you exhale is warm.

As the detached observer, you can perceive all of this with no conscious engagement or judgment.

STEP 3:

The Light of the Soul Descends
Soul Light Descending

Then, with conscious intention, using imagination and visualization, consider your Soul to be a radiating point of golden light about 3-to-6 feet above your head. Your Soul is of course much more expansive than this, but locating your Soul in this way helps to open you to the conscious awareness of the Presence of your Soul. As you become aware of your Soul, soak in its golden light as you relax even more.

If you are having any trouble connecting with your Soul, you can visualize the light and love of the Christ as a connected gentle radiating point of energy high above you on one end, and feel the love and light of your radiating Soul in-between you and the Christ.

As you become aware of your Soul, invite its gentle, loving energy into your heart. The most common response to your Soul’s Presence entering your heart is one of the sensations associated with both loving and being loved, filling your heart. The nature of the Soul is love and experiencing that love is one of the blessings of connecting with your Soul in meditation. Ponder on this.

You can sit and receive that love as often and fully as you like.

You might enhance that Presence by using one of the Mantras shared in the related links below.

STEP 4:

When you can experience the Loving Presence of your Soul in your heart, you are ready to proceed to invite and invoke the Presence of the Soul of someone with whom you have shared the bond of love during his or her life and yours.

As you think of them and the bond of love you shared with them, visualize your own radiating golden white Soul and imagine a beam of Light and Love going from your Soul to their eternal Soul. You are now sending forth a beam of Light and Love energy from your Soul to their Soul. Know that this is an energy that connects outside of time and moves both to and from their Soul.

You could both enhance and empower this Soul to Soul connection by seeing lines of light and love go from your Soul to the heart of the Christ and then from the Christ to the Soul of your departed beloved. Along that energetic pathway send with your love, your gratitude.

This becomes a prayer for their Soul according to your desires and beliefs.

STEP 5:

Continue to be quiet and receptive to the Presence and consciousness of your own Soul and expand your receptivity and awareness to the resonance and energy that you associate uniquely with the other Soul.

Please remember the pathway from your Soul to their Soul is in the realm of the Soul. It is composed of pure Soul Love and Soul light and has no dense physical form to it.

Although this Celebration of Love Meditation can serve as a profound affirmation of the eternal bonds of love, it is not good either for you or for the Soul of the departed loved one, to energize this link too often. The Soul after death moves on through a number of transformations until it is time to return to incarnation. However, once a year on November 2nd, All Souls Day, or once a year perhaps in memorial of their day of passing, it is appropriate to let the love link you Soul to Soul in a Celebration of your love.

STEP 6:

It is always a blessing to celebrate love. Remember that love has no attachment. At this time gently release the connection to the other eternal Soul and come back to being in the here and now feeling fully rested and integrated with your Soul.

Recent discoveries in Quantum Physics, regarding the nature of electrons in atoms and how they bond and have relationships with other electrons and move beyond space and time, reveal how this is possible. New scientific discoveries are being revealed that are just now explaining what has been taught through the Ageless Wisdom and the mystery schools of esoterica and meditation.

This celebration of love is an act of giving and receiving. It is a blessing. It is a prayer, and it is an affirmation of the eternity of love. It is a meditation that invites you to experience the majesty and the glory of your Soul and Love.

History of Halloween

A Brief History of Halloween

Read the History of Halloween aritcle by Genevieve Gerard

Since ancient times the ending of summer and onset of the autumn has on a deep, archetypal level brought about thoughts of life and death.

Watching the harvest and the transition of the leaves of the trees in all their splendor and glory, to the stark, barren branches of winter, reminds us on a deep almost pre-conscious level of the cycles of life and therefore death.

Reminders of those we have loved and times we have enjoyed pushing their way into our consciousness.

This place in the cycle of life, this time between the plenty of the harvest and the drawing inward of winter as the light of the sun has already begun to fade from the sky, beckons with bittersweet memories. Often thoughts turn to those we have loved who are now dead.

Halloween History Facts - Genevieve Gerard

This time in nature was believed by the ancient druids to thin the veil between life and death.

Ceremonies to contact the spirit world for guidance and divination were performed before bonfires meant to keep the people safe from the spirits of those who have passed over.

In various cultures, this time was seen as a time when contact could be made with the spirits of the dead. In Ireland and Spain, rituals developed to leave food for those who on this one night a year could walk between the worlds of life and death, spirit and matter.

This ancient tradition, in the Celtic culture called “Samhain” in Ireland spread throughout the Catholic world in the eighth century when Pope Gregory declared November 1 as All Saints Day. On the other hand, it also became known as the Day of the Dead in many cultures. The already established traditions of leaving food for the spirits and various acts of costumes and bonfires to protect one from the potential evils of wandering spirits became incorporated into a variety of cultures.

For some this time became a time to celebrate our continuity with loved ones we have lost to death. The richness of this tradition is best seen when Mexico, Spain and the Philippine’s celebrate with elaborate “Day of the Dead” rituals.

This day gives us the opportunity to carry our petitions to loved ones who have moved on and Saints whose intervention we seek, merged with our all too human fears of death and the world beyond.

Thus the blending of fear of the world of spirits and hope of help and guidance created the concept that this rare access to those who have gone before us into the mystery of death could result in good or ill; “trick or treat.”

Costumes to frighten the dead from us, bonfires to protect us, carved symbols of the recent harvest blazing forth with light all symbolize our desire to be protected and our fascination with the line between life and death.

Don’t worry, keep reading and I will share a short, simple meditation technique to help protect you energetically.

In more modern times, Halloween has become a favorite holiday and event.

In this more secular age, the petitioning of Saints has remained the purview of the Roman Catholic world, as Martin Luther and the widespread reformation eliminated the concept of the petitioning of Saints with a prayer from most Christian Denominations.

This ancient custom of Halloween October 31, and All Saints Day, also evolved a third time, All Souls Day. In all three of these celebrations is a focus on the issues with which all human beings must cope, those of life and death.

Mystics say that during this 3-day celebration the veil between the material world and the spiritual world is thinned.

Often Halloween focuses upon celebrating life within the shadow of inevitable death. Fear of death and fear of those who have died but reside as ghosts or restless spirits. This has transitioned into the wearing of costumes to scare away the spirits and help people face their fears about death.

The trick or treat tradition of giving candy to coax a spirit to not cause harm evolved from the Day of the Dead celebrations which involved leaving food and treats for loved ones who have passed from the world of the living into the spiritual realm.

On these three days, Halloween, All Saints Day and All Souls Day, I would like to offer some things for you to ponder and a meditation you can do to take advantage of this time of the thinning veils.

1.) First is the realization that Love is Eternal

On a deep preconscious level we know, not with our minds but deep in our hearts the truth of the words, love never ends.”
        ― Genevieve Gerard

2.) As promised, here is a simple meditation technique called the Wheel of Living Fire.

This is a short meditation and visualization you can use to conquer your fears at this time and to protect yourself energetically. Once you learn this meditation it can be placed around you within a second of thought and intention because you have already built (or constructed) the “thought form.”

Wheel of Living Fire

This is a meditation technique from the Ageless Wisdom that I have used for many years. Each time you consciously build this wheel of living fire around you, you reinforce its protective power. It is a very helpful technique if you are particularly energetically sensitive to the vibrations of those around you.

To begin, Calm your Mind, Open Your Heart, and Invite the Light.

Imagine a path from your Soul in through the top of your head that descends to your heart. Along that pathway imagine a Loving Living Fire descending. Then, with the power of your mind build an energetic force field coming out from your heart, which has been infused by your Soul with the Light of Living Fire.

Let your heart be the center of a protective shield that extends out about 3 feet beyond your physical body.

Imagine your heart to be the hub of a wheel and from that hub imagine seven spokes going out created by the Light of Living Fire. That Wheel creates a protective shield with you in the center that surrounds your body, built of etheric energy, infused by Soul Light. This wheel is built in a fire that purifies but does not burn.

Having invoked the Living Fire from your Soul and having created with your thought and imagination the Wheel of Living Fire as a protective barrier, you are able while sending energy forth in the world, to be protected by the Living Fire that purifies any energy that is coming to you, thus protecting you from harm.

Please note, whereas this energetic field serves as a purifying protection, your energy, your love, and your intention can move freely out from your heart into the world.

Namaste,

   Genevieve

BE All of You

BE All of You

Be and Become All That You Can Be

To come into your full power as an individual and to achieve success and experience real happiness takes becoming aware of and activating in your life all of who you are.

As a human being, you are a complex and multi-dimensional being who functions on different levels simultaneously. Increasing your awareness and potential within those different parts of yourself can empower you to achieve great things.

The more conscious and integrated you become of the fullness of who and what you are as a human being, the more you can harness your abilities and focus them on fulfilling your purpose and your destiny.

What it means to be a human being may seem to be self-evident, but within each of us are untapped powers and potential that can become manifest when we utilize them with consciousness and awareness.

To activate your full power and potential it is advantageous to understand the ways that the different aspects of your human nature can work together for greater health, happiness and success.

To do this let us explore our multi-level nature. Each of us is composed of a physical body. It has very specific very physical requirements and needs. Among the most basic of these needs are water, food, and shelter from exposure to the elements. A body not provided with these very basic needs will not survive long. This is self-evident yet important to understand because the quest for survival and the fulfillment of these basic needs motivates a great deal of human behavior.

However, a human being is more than just a body and both, its needs and its talents are more diverse. In addition to our physical body and our survival needs, we have emotions, a mind, a personality (a merger of our body, emotions, and thoughts) and a Soul (our Divine Spark that makes us more than an animal.) As human beings, we are a most amazing being.

We, in this miraculous merger of the physical body, emotional body, personality, and Soul are stronger than we imagine. To harness the full scope and power of our full potential is what man is evolving to become. Humanity in its present form only has been on earth a relatively short span of time when we look at the history of humankind.

I was listening to a few T.E.D. (Technology, Entertainment & Design) programs published on N.P.R. recently that made this point quiet well. Humanity emerged from the cradle of civilization to occupy the planet a short span of time ago in evolutionary terms. Yet science is looking to a newly evolved type of human being emerging.

As I listened to these two programs, I began to wonder at the deeper meaning of this and consider what all of this means to you and me as we strive to live happier more fruitful and empowered lives.

I began to consider what this all means in relation to principles and concepts I have previously written about in the concept that “energy follows thought,” and a concept I have mentioned previously that we as human beings were created to work in cooperation with the Divine as co-creators of our world. It seems these rather “woo, woo” concepts have a basis in new scientific discoveries. The concepts of what is known as The Ancient Wisdom about how thought can influence material reality are being revealed in the newly explored field of Noetic physics.

I realized that discovering and manifesting the power of thought in the creative expression of your life are important keys that need further exploration and demonstration. Thankfully, you don’t have to be a scientist to explore and demonstrate these powerful principles. You have your whole life as a living laboratory.

You could simply use the powerful tool of affirmation and observe how your life changes. Alternatively, you could watch your thoughts and gain mastery over them in a way that transforms your daily events and experiences. On the other hand, you can practice and refine the tools that will change your life as you hone the discipline of your mind.

It is, in my opinion with the power of your mind and with the focus of intention that you will be able to experience and manifest the next step in evolution. It is in this exciting integration of your Higher Self as a co-creator with the Divine that humankind will evolve.

When you use the power of your mind to empower and transform the events and circumstances of your life, you are joining a movement to bring this new kind of human being into manifestation. When you share your success and wisdom with others, you are actively demonstrating the promise and potential of what being human can be. You become a guide for others on the path to becoming.

This is an exciting time in the evolution of consciousness. This adventure into the awareness of what it truly means to be a spark of Divine Light on planet earth is thrilling. It is an amazing time in which to be alive, grow and thrive.

As a resource, I have listed a number of posts that include techniques to create awareness, in the related links at the end of this blog post. There are also other articles and blogs that you can search out on this website. One will undoubtedly work better for you than another. Sometimes a simple shift in how something is said clarifies a concept or grants a new perception.

Most important in any experimentation or exploration that you do is to incorporate your Higher Self and your intuition into the process. In this way, you can use your whole being and your whole self to empower your life experiment as you change your life.

A Brief Technique to Empower You

Sit quietly and receptively. I encourage you to “Calm Your Mind, Open Your Heart, Invite the Light.

Imagine a beam of Light descending from your Higher Self into the top of your head filling your mind with insight and understanding.

Invite from your Soul (Higher Self) the intuition of a clear vision of what you can do better to bring into manifestation the opportunities you desire to achieve the goals you have identified in your life.

Stay with this for about 10 minutes and record your thoughts, your impressions, and direction in a journal you keep for this purpose.

Then go about your day keeping your thoughts positively focused.

If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing,
you’re right.

Remember that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Celebrate it and enjoy it.

The Meaning of The Lord’s Prayer

The Meaning of The Lord’s Prayer

Understanding the Lord’s Prayer

Meaning of The Lord's Pray Serenity Sunday Article by Genevieve Gerard

There are as many ways to pray as there are people who pray.

There are no wrong ways to pray. There are no intrinsically right ways to pray.

That said there are a few great prayers that incorporate the unique elements that make up a truly great prayer. The best known of these is most likely the one attributed to Jesus known as The Lord’s Prayer.

I feel what is said and crafted into this prayer contains all of the best features of prayer. When you think about the words and the mystical importance of the words used I am always amazed at how powerfully it utilizes all of the most effective elements in a very few words.

Take a few minutes with me below and consider the meaning of The Lord’s Prayer and what is truly being said and created in this great prayer. Ponder the underlying and even magical power of these words as I help you understand the meaning of the Lord’s Prayer line-by-line.

Our Father,

This address in this prayer is one of the most important aspects of this prayer. In using this salutation to God as Father we are establishing a particular type of relationship with God, that as a child to a loving and benevolent Father.

It is interesting to note that during the life of Jesus, God was not seen by many of the scholars and Rabbis of the time in this way. The God of the Israelites Yahweh was seen as a jealous often vengeful God. By Jesus shifting the attention with the salutation of the Lord’s Prayer to Our Father, he is bringing us into a specific relationship with God. It is a relation of what the great Jewish theologian Martin Buber referred to as an I Thou relationship. The I-Thou relationship with God as a loving and benevolent God is a subtle power of this salutation.

When you pray, consider the words of the salutation as an important part of the prayer, not just automatic words muttered ritually. In the salutation you are aligning yourself into right relationship with God; however, you see or believe God to be. This lets you focus the power in your prayer.

What matters is not the name of God that you call upon, but rather the alignment and relationship that is created in the salutation. Ponder this and consider this in light of that relationship. There is great power in the words that we choose. This is always true and even truer when we pray.

Who art in Heaven,

This is an affirmation that our Heavenly Father exists in a unique and special realm of consciousness. Our words, our prayer, and our intention must go to the realm of God and spirit. It is because God is a spirit that God is everywhere. It is because God is spirit that our prayers can access God anywhere and everywhere we go.

Hallowed (or Holy) be thy name.

This is an affirmation of both the greatness of God and of our homage to that greatness. In this short phrase, you are brought into a relationship of honor and respect with the Divine.

Thy kingdom come,

This is an affirmation and invocation in the prayer. It is to some extent the “ask” part of the prayer. In this phrase, you are asking for God’s kingdom to come to this oft-ravaged earth.

Thy will be done,

This is the surrender. The surrender is a special time in every prayer where we acknowledge that Divine wisdom is superior to our own.

On earth as it is in heaven.

This is again affirming and invoking that the kingdom of God be manifested here on earth. It is perhaps significant that of the ten stanzas or phrases in this prayer, two are about bringing about the kingdom of God on earth. This point is worthy of pondering.

How would your life experience on earth be different if God were directing your life in every step you take and every move you make?

What can you do to bring this more into your experience of life on earth, live, demonstrate Love more, practice forgiveness and be generous and giving to others?

Give us this day, our daily bread.

This is significant in what it says, but most importantly in how it says it. This is the second “ask” in the prayer, the first being for all of the citizens of earth, but it is important to note that it is only asking for what is needed now. It both assumes and affirms that our daily needs will be met, but it also focuses our “ask” on the present time, the NOW, not the future.

And forgives us our (debts, trespasses, sins, mistakes)

The words used here vary greatly, but the important principle is asking for forgiveness and seeing forgiveness as something you must give. Your giving forgives is so very important that your request for forgiveness is asked for in proportion to your ability and willingness to give it.

as we forgive those have trespassed against us.

I have always liked the word trespasses because it incorporates a large breadth of mistakes and failure in both others and us.

This stanza is 10% of the whole prayer, and to my mind and heart one of the very most important parts of the prayer because it implies a responsibility not just to receive forgiveness but also to give forgiveness, to others and to ourselves. This is the only part of the prayer where what we receive is dependent upon our actions as well as God’s.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

This stanza contains two very important aspects. It asks for help in overcoming and avoiding temptation, to which you are all subject by your human nature. Most important it acknowledges that there is evil in the world while invoking your protection from it.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the Glory forever and ever.

This is an affirmation of the divinity of God and His ownership or dominion over His entire kingdom. It is further affirmed that He rules with power and glory, eternally.

In some versions of the prayer, it concludes with the assurance of eternity by concluding with the words, forever and ever.

Amen (So be it) or (It is so)

The actual interpretation of this word goes back to several Sanskrit words, the OM (the sound of Universal Presence) and the AUM. The word Amen also is brought forward from the Old Testament and was used in the New Testament to signify deep truth. Today it is most often used as a confirmation of truth and has become a traditional close to most Christian prayers.

This speaks to the eternal nature not only of God but also to the eternal nature of our affirmations and invocations. It is also an expression of gratitude while affirming the eternity of the Divine. The gratitude affirmed in the saying of Amen is an affirmation of your faith that you believe that what you have prayed for will come into manifestation.

When you pray it is most powerful to pray with the wholeness of your Self. Prayer is the merging of your heart, your mind and your Soul. When you pray you are not only petitioning or asking, you are opening yourself up to merging your energies with the Presence of the Divine in an experience of Oneness and unity. This merging of your heart and mind, with your Soul and the Eternal Presence of God invokes the blessings of being touched by the comforter, being sustained by eternity and restored.

Namaste,

The Last Step in Forgiveness

The Last Step in Forgiveness

Open Yourself To Forgiveness - by Genevieve Gerard

This morning in my meditation as I was considering the concept of forgiveness I was granted a new understanding of how forgiveness works. Something I realized is the last step in forgiveness.

Forgiveness has long been a pondering point in my meditations. It is a subject on which I have often written. It is a spiritual work that my life experiences required for me to become free of assaults and indignities that I suffered in my childhood, and sorrows and betrayals in my adult life.

Therefore, to have a new revelation about how the subtle and energetic workings of forgiveness impact life is very exciting for me.

To understand the mechanics of forgiveness in this new light expands the power of what is already one of the most powerful tools of transformation. Forgiveness is a liberation that frees pain and sorrow and allows it to heal. It unravels the chains of anger so that you no longer have to carry the past around and trip over it.

I shall try to share this new understanding with you because I know it is important. The way that this disclosure that I am calling the last step in forgiveness released the energy around a wrong committed by another released a whole new layer of forgiveness that I had never seen before. If you have read any of my previous writings on forgiveness, you know that I teach that the best reason to forgive another is to free yourself from the burden of the past. This then opens you to the unlimited possibilities of an unformed and now unfettered future that is just coming into manifestation.

As such, I have advised you to forgive another, not so much for them, but for you, for it is your life that is freed from the past, and it is your burden of anger and betrayal that is laid down. All of this is imparted in my prior writings and can be explored in detail in the links to related posts at the conclusion of this blog.

Let me start by saying that Forgiveness is profound spiritual work, it, however, is also one of the most life-transforming tools you can use for your personal growth and development.

When we have opened ourselves to give forgiveness or to accept forgiveness we have opened ourselves to touch the Divine.”
        – Genevieve Gerard

Today’s revelation and understanding go beyond anything I have ever written about the importance of forgiveness. It is not only something I have never talked about before, but it is also a new understanding of the dynamics and workings of forgiveness on an energetic level that makes the act of forgiveness much more powerful than I have ever realized before.

It works on an alchemical energetic level. It works with the powerful principle that energy follows thought and it relies on the truths expounded in the teachings in the field of Neuro-Linguistics. It requires a new layer in the process of forgiveness that has the power to transform the one you are forgiving.

It speaks to an age-old question about forgiving that has always been intertwined with the concept of forgetting. Yes, it has long been argued I can forgive, but I cannot forget what the other has done. In addition, since what has been done in the past cannot be changed, that has had to do.

We all know that it can be a challenge to forgive, so to forget throws it over the top. It is just too much to consider for most people. What we are forgiving in another are usually the most painful things they have done. Just to forgive something seems to be enough.

Indeed, on many levels it is too much for most people. Nevertheless, the insight that I received this morning in my meditation and indeed the whole purpose of this article is to take forgiveness to a entirely different higher level. A level that can bring about real and lasting change in the life of both the one who is forgiving and the one who needs to be forgiven.

Thoughts, as I have often written have great power. It is a universal principle that energy follows thought. Thoughts, in fact mold the world around us in creating our experiences and our reality. They influence the very fabric of matter itself in the world around us. This is part of the new knowledge that began when the world of physics discovered in recent times the workings of subtle energies that are being explored by the newer field of Noetic Studies. The secrets becoming known are beginning to confirm what have long been the teachings of the occult and have been passed down throughout time as the Ageless Wisdom.

This ageless truth is also the basis for the teachings of many past and present thought leaders and motivational speakers. It is to them that I reach today for the words of how to explain this new layer of forgiveness, this new revelation about how forgiveness works.

My Insight on How To Forgive

We all hold in our mind thought forms about one another, just as we hold thought forms or beliefs about ourselves. These thought forms, these beliefs that we hold onto about ourselves often are a focus of our personal work and often must be removed consciously when it is realized that they are “limiting beliefs.” As any practitioner of N.L.P. can tell you and most counselors, life coaches and therapists would confirm, releasing a limiting belief about yourself or making a conscious decision to revise that belief to bring about a desired change when you can affirm “that was true of me then, but now I am …” is a life changing transformational tool.

What I realized to be true that relates to forgiveness is that these beliefs, these limiting beliefs we have of one another create a reality manifested by our thought forms, expectations and the power of the energy we give to it. To release the negative and/or limited thought form you hold in your mind about the other person gives the act of forgiveness the life transforming power of empowering them to change. Ponder on this.

If we can, when we forgive another, also release the thought forms we have created in our minds about them, there is an energetic discharge that frees the person you are forgiving and empowers them to go on in their life and become the person they are striving to become.

To forgive, without this dynamic extra step in the forgiveness process, dare I say the last step in forgiveness, adds to both the probability and possibility that they will again live up to our expectations (and energetic thought forms) and continue to do exactly what they have always done before that needed forgiveness.

Certainly, the best predictor of future behavior has been past behavior. That very expectation, that limiting belief held by both you and the one you are forgiving creates a huge obstacle to their change. Likewise, when you forgive down to the level of shattering the limiting belief you are holding in your mind about the one you are forgiving, you open the door to real and lasting change for them to take full advantage (and responsibility) of the possibilities and potential of the unwritten emerging future with a real freedom that simple forgiveness without this step does not grant.

So, when you forgive, although you may never forget what was done, if you can within your own mind, with the love of your heart, release the limiting belief you have held of them and hold the image in your mind of how they can be and who they can be, freed from the hurtful and painful behavior they have exhibited in the past, you are by your forgiveness, setting them free.

They can release all of the failures and foibles so that they can be, all that your love desires them to be and all that they desire to be for themselves. Then your act of forgiveness has the power and potential to expand into an act of transformation that will make you, and the one you are forgiving and who has needed forgiveness, much happier.

As I was pondering this, I saw the image of the person I was forgiving shatter into millions of shards that exploded and released an amazing rush of energy.

Releasing a Limiting Belief

To release a limiting belief, whether about yourself or another, requires being aware of your mind chatter and what you are thinking. Then you need to change the thought “change your mind” and thereby “change your life.” This is done by editing your negative or limiting thoughts and replacing them with positive, transformational or healing thoughts.

As soon as you catch your thought defining someone (including yourself) with an “am” or “is” statement such as “I am . . .”, “He or she is . . .”, immediately revise the negative or limiting thought with a reframed new positive, limitless thought, now free of the negative limiting belief.

This takes vigilance and consistency. Energy follows thought, that is both the rule and the underlying principle but conflicting thoughts undermine the efficiency of the desired change especially when it requires changing ingrained patterns of behavior. Ponder on this rule.

Know that, with this process transformation and change do occur. It begins with the alteration of a single thought, which works its way energetically into manifested substance, until one day you notice that the limiting thought or belief is no longer in your thoughts. Interestingly, it is often only vaguely in your memory and at that point, you truly know that you have exercised your role as co-creator of your life.

I encourage you to experience this last step in forgiveness, releasing the negative thought forms you have held in your mind about the other and watch how their lives may transform.

Know that this new aspect of forgiveness can bring about real healing in relationships when forgiveness is being asked and being granted.

Remember the past is finished. It has no power over you or over them when with your forgiveness you also free them from your thoughts that have held them in that past. The future is now revealed, as the unfettered and unlimited possibility, to evolve as the fulfillment of all of your dreams.

Namaste,

Genevieve

How To Call Upon Angels For Help

How To Call Upon Angels For Help

Read How To Call Upon An Angel article by Genevieve Gerard

This article is part of my ongoing series on Angels.

Angels are all around us.

They are composed of pure energy and pure Light so you may go through your whole life and never be aware of their Presence.

You may have at times felt their presence.

You may have never wondered about angels at all. Since they are a part of the realm of what is to our physical eye invisible you could have completely rejected angels as being real at all.

For many people life is easier if they reject anything that cannot be experienced with their sense of touch, sight, smell, or sound. Of course, sensing or feeling is a part of our sensory awareness also but, not in the same category as the physical senses of the body.

If you are among those who have felt or sensed the presence of angels, there may be a great deal about the nature of angels that have never been explained. Even among those who believe in angels, there is a myriad of theories that may be presented as facts. The truth is that one of the limitations of being in a human experience right now is that there is a lot about angels that is kept behind the veil.

Yet, you may very well sense angelic presences as a part of your life experience. You may have felt their benevolence as something you could call upon for help or support in particularly challenging or troubling times in your life. That is certainly possible and among those who have called upon angels for help, protection or guidance many stories are told. Indeed, your experiences when you open to the angelic kingdom can add to the lore of angels when help is provided, and miracles happen.

How Can I Sense Angels

Angelic communication is a part of coming into contact and harmony with your Soul. Your Soul is the bridging part of your being that opens you beyond the limitations of your body. When you open your heart to love you expand your awareness.

By opening to the Presence of your Soul and by opening your heart to love you open your life to other subtle frequencies of reality that are beyond the restraints of dense matter. It is with this expanded awareness that you can commune with angels.

Opening your consciousness to your Soul opens you to a vast realm of life that exists beyond what is perceived by the five senses. It opens you into an expanded reality that incorporates miracles and expands your understanding of the nature of subtle energies. This realm of reality beyond the input of the five senses is very real. It is the reality of you as a Soul, having a human adventure. It is the reality of you as a child of God. It is the realm of which co-creation with the Divine happens. It is the realm inhabited by angels.

Open yourself to an encounter with heaven, be as a little child.
Release your desire to the winds of the universe.
Trust your angels to catch your wish and
bring it to you in a delightfully surprising way.
       – Doreen Virtue

What Are The Steps To Being Open To An Angel

Meditation is one of the key portals to this reality. Prayer also serves as a gateway. Understanding this merger of spiritual energy in a way that brings perception to the mind of reality beyond the five senses will expand your awareness. Ponder on this.

The principle of free will is an essential aspect of spiritual life. Therefore, invitation and invocation are necessary steps to experiencing your Soul, and communicate with and experiencing angels. The presence of your Soul, angelic presences, and even the direction of the Divine respond to invitation and invocation.

Free will is a universal law. It functions much like other universal laws and principles like the law of attraction, like the principle that energy follows thought and a variety of other so-called spiritual laws. These laws have been woven into the very substance of creation and must be adhered to by even the creator. This is why meditation and prayer are such important parts of opening your life to spiritual realities. When you meditate or pray you are inviting and invoking, thus making it possible for you to cross the veil and enter the angelic kingdom.

As I mentioned in my “Meeting You Guardian Angel” article, your personal Guardian Angel is committed to you, and therefore is the most accessible to you of the angels of the Angelic Kingdom. However, other angels remain close to human life, and human experiences that are charged with, and have taken responsibility for, interfacing with human lives. Those angels are most accessible to you when you call for help, guidance or Divine Intervention.

How To Call Upon An Angel

To call upon angels for help, guidance or Divine Intervention is a very specific type of inter-relationship with an angelic presence. It requires invocation and invitation. In most instances invocation and invitation come when you pray, asking for help. Since one of the primary functions of an angel is a messenger from God, many see asking for angelic assistance as a way of asking for God’s help. They are all on the same team.

When in response to your prayer you sense the presence of an angel, it is time to request help and support. Angels, especially those angels whose mission is to provide aid and support to humanity, often are more available in those places where people congregate to bridge the veil from matter to spirit. That is why churches and temples are often the easiest places to make contact with the angelic realm or for some, their own Soul. The aggregate energy that is formed from the years of human intention eases this communication between worlds.

The cathedrals of the world have long been a place where angels gather. The quest for access from the material to the spiritual has charged the energy in ways that can facilitate your request. For this reason, you might wish to go to a place of worship when you are calling for divine help. Space or distance do not limit angels, but the energetic pathways in these areas have been reinforced by others who have preceded you in asking for angelic or Divine help.

Invitation and Invocation Angelic Ritual

When inviting and invoking angels I have always liked the ritual of lighting a candle. To me, the golden white light of a candle is symbolic of the Light of my Soul. Before I seek communion with what is spiritual I invoke the words “Calm Your Mind, Open Your Heart, Invite The Light.” You may have noticed that this is an injunction that I use to open the energy in almost all of my guided meditations.

Some have shared with me that they use this phrase and these world like a Mantra, especially in times of great need or stress.

The Mantram I shared in my article “Meeting Your Guardian Angel” remains one of my very favorite Mantras to invoke and invite angelic Presence. I will share it with you again here.

Say in your mind and heart this Mantra of Invitation.

Beloved Come

Infuse . . . Inflame . . . Instill . . .

Incorporate in living substance,

All Thy Will.

Then sit quietly and receptively in the silence allowing the time and space for angelic contact.

By this ritual, the lighting of a candle, calming your mind, opening your heart and inviting in the Light, then issuing the invitation with the Mantram, you have created a sacred space for angelic contact.

As always, I recommend that you have a journal and pen available to record any thoughts, insights or impressions you receive in the silence.

Please Note: When you request help from the angels be aware that there are angels all around you, but Divine intervention always is aligned with Divine Will and the greatest good. That perspective may not be in keeping with what you want, but is always for what is best for all who are concerned.

Open your awareness to the realm of angels and the guidance of your Soul to receive the blessings and benefits in your life of an expansion of your consciousness into the greater scope of reality. Let the love of the angels who have responded to your invitation enfold you and support you. Then express your gratitude to the angels and return to your daily life.

Namaste,

   Genevieve

Perfection Brings Imperfection To The Surface

Perfection Brings Imperfection to the Surface

Perfection Brings Imperfection To The Surface - Genevieve Gerard Serenity Sunday Article

In the world of consciousness, among those who have been long upon the path, there is a phrase that it is very important to understand when you embark upon the journey of transformation.

The phrase is “perfection brings imperfection to the surface.”

This is often a very frustrating and disheartening part of the process of growth and change because just when you have started to have greater understanding and insight you are faced with the parts of yourself that are the antithesis to what you are striving to bring into your life.

Your personality now faced with the increase in light that is coming from your soul, often begins to act out like a long undisciplined child who is now required to behave. Faults, long buried or kept quiescent are now visible in the light and stand revealed, warts and all. How you deal with the imperfections that have become known is an important transition in your transformational adventure.

When you strive to be happier and more successful, there is a tendency to be highly critical of yourself. This is particularly true when you begin to be successful in transcending your fears and gaining control of your life. After having ridden a wildly out of control bucking bronco of life, when you finally get the reins in your hands there is a tendency to be self-critical. I caution you that this is just a less damaging version of the negative self- talk that you have just conquered.

Often, the tendency is to rebury the “negative” trait, denying and ignoring the truth that it shows. However, it is in these revelations of your shadow self that the real work of growth and transformation takes place. It is in dealing with these less attractive and less desirable parts of yourself that you have the opportunity for making a powerful difference in your life.

Make failure your teacher, not your undertaker - Zig Ziglar

It is in the process of revelation and resolution that you require compassion, and forgiveness in a context of complete profound honesty with yourself. To look at your shadow self and then light the candle of awareness to illumine all of the glaring ugliness of your faults, gives you the perspective of deep self-compassion and self-forgiveness. While this may be painful for you, it also will be profoundly healing and astonishingly powerful.

This interweaving of who you are becoming with forgiveness and compassion for the mistakes and failures you have experienced through your life is a balancing act. It is important to be gentle with yourself.

Whereas insight can be easy, it is a basic truth in life that change can be hard. To change your way of thinking requires both vigilance and attention. Understanding this principle that perfection brings imperfection to the surface can reassure you that you are changing and growing.

It is in this process that the freedom of being in the now is most needed and most appreciated. This weakness of the self that is revealed can be released in the present time and relegated to history, allowing a new opportunity for the future to emerge. You can see your faults and make the choice to put them aside, as a child puts aside a toy it has outgrown. In addition, although there may be parts that are habitual, awareness helps you break the habit.

Once the imperfection has been brought to the surface, accessed honestly, and evaluated in the emerging understanding of growing awareness, the draw and perceived benefit of the fault is diminished. Once the consciousness has made this shift, the “fault” never again has the same lure because your perspective has changed and the excuses for the negative behavior are no longer valid and sustaining.

It is in imperfection that we discover what is perfect for us.
     – Unknown

It is a subtle shift that you may not even notice for awhile, but one day you think back and realize that a particular fault has faded into the barely remembered past, and why you had ever behaved that way is vague and unclear to you. This is the healing benefit of seizing the opportunity of self-examination and release when perfection brings imperfection to the surface.

You can observe a behavior, thought form, or limiting belief you have held, but after you have let the light and awareness of your Higher Self consider it and consciously decide to reject it, then you can become free to be different, to be who you know and desire yourself to be.

Each and every time you act congruently with the way you are now choosing to be; each time you catch yourself in old thought form patterns, each time you let the imperfections come to the surface and then conquer them, you are reinforcing and manifesting the change you desire.

Change, growth and evolution are an ongoing process of giving up as you take up. Each time you catch yourself in old negative thought patterns, stop it and then change them. You win. These little victories are ways to achieve the peace of mind, the success and the release from fear that were out of reach when you began to grab the reins of your thoughts and decided to stop letting your fears, insecurities or limitations control your life.

The more you grow, the more you know.

To transform your life into the life of your dreams is a choice only you can make. It is your life to spend as you wish.

Three Things to Ponder on Today to Make A Difference

  1. Realize that your thoughts are a power you can use to create the life of your dreams.
  2. Consciously be aware of the content of your thoughts (about yourself and your life.)
  3. With clarity and intention, affirm what you belief to be true about yourself and your life.

Follow these steps and you will begin the energy of change and transformation. Add to them an underlying expression of desire and intention and give your creative mind the attention of focus and affirmation and you will be on your way.

Remember, this is a new way of thinking and a new way of being. If you find yourself falling back into old patterns of self-recrimination and negative thinking be gentle with yourself. Consider objectively what is coming to clarity.

Often negative self-talk is the “voice” of someone in your past. Evaluate and consider what comes to light in your process of becoming who you want to be. Let the Light of your Higher Self bring your mistakes and failures into clarity so that you can put them behind you. The Past cannot be changed. Let it go and be free of it. The present is offering you gifts that have never been available before. Open yourself fully to receive them. The future is before you as an exciting adventure that is unfolding right here and right now.

Remember, you are not limited by what has ever been before. Let the future stand revealed. You now have the opportunity to clear away any of the imperfections that your invitation to your Higher Self may have revealed so that you can embrace the unlimited possibility and dynamic potential of being, who you want to be, and all that you are meant to be.

Namaste,

Genevieve

Laying On Hands For Healing

Laying on Hands for Healing

Read Laying On Hands For Healing article by Genevieve Gerard

This article is part of my on-going series on Healing.

Hands-on healing, also known as energy healing or the spiritual healing practice of laying on hands, has been experienced for thousands of years.

In Greek mythology, Chiron, taught Asclepius, the God of Medicine, hands-on healing. This was the source of the word Chi-ergy, which evolved into surgery.

Later, in Christianity, we are told stories of Jesus ability to heal using the laying-on-of-hands and initially the Apostles laid hands on new believers as well as believers.

If God can work through me, he can work through anyone.
      – Saint Francis of Assisi

Even Science has proven that your energy; your thoughts and intention can be used to help heal another. This is a gift we can give one another in life. One important way we can do this is by the laying on of hands. This connection of your physical body with the body of the one who needs healing acts as a transmitter to energize and empower the act of healing.

A tradition of the early church that extended well into the middle ages was the laying on of hands for healing.

Offering healing to one another is a way of
demonstrating love for one another.
      – Genevieve Gerard

For whatever reason, the laying on of hands is not widely offered today even among groups of spiritual people. Yet to participate in healing is one of the most significant ways you can demonstrate your faith and serve others.

As I open my heart and my mind to the guidance of what I should share with you today, I realize that some of your hesitation to engage in the act of “laying on of hands” could stem from having never been provided adequate instruction in this lost tradition. So this article is to help you gain a deeper understanding of the how’s and why’s of this ancient art.

There are some crucial understandings that will enhance the experience and the effectiveness of the requested healing that I share with you today.

Work In A Group

The first is a recommendation that you work in a group. Not only is working in groups for the purpose of healing a part of the ancient tradition of “Laying on of Hands” but working in groups increases the effectiveness of the healing. If you are moved by this instruction, I encourage you to gather together a group of like-minded people who want to learn and to heal as a service to their community.

The reason for gathering a group together to offer healing to others is that working in groups dramatically increases the effectiveness of healing. From the days of the early church believers were assured that whenever two or more are gathered in His name, Christ is present. When gathered for the purpose of helping and healing another, that Presence further empowers the healing energy. Therefore, to work as a group is more effective than you can ever be as a lone individual.

While this has always been true among a community of faith, it is even truer as humanity enters into the new Aquarian Age that is all about learning to work in groups. On the issue of healing, the passing age and the New Age are in complete agreement. Working as a group is not only more efficient, but is also more effective.

Right Use of Will

When forming a group for the purpose of healing there are certain basic things it is important to honor and understand. There is perhaps no place in life where it is more important than in healing to combine Will and surrender effectively. There is so much about a life experience that can only be understood in a broader perspective than we are privy to that certain safe guards have been built into the tradition of energetic healing since time immemorial.

Among these is the right use of will. Whereas intention, the intention to provide healing, is very important it is also important to invoke the powerful principle of Right Action. Although there is more about this principle that I can say here today, and surely will be a subject I bring up again in future articles and is a subject I know I have mentioned previously, surrendering what you are asking for in the process of healing another to an invocation of, and a request for, Right Action is where that important blend of will and surrender come together.

Ask Only For Right Action

A disease, an illness or an injury may have a purpose, meaning or lesson in someone’s life that we cannot see from our perspective, so requesting or invoking the healing we desire with the clear intention of also invoking Right Action is a way of protecting the person requesting healing from unintended consequences or harm. This alignment with Right Action whether by aligning with Divine Will or the Higher Will (the Soul) of the person you are striving to heal is of paramount importance.

For most engaging in laying on of hands, is for healing. You must however remember that as a group participant it is not your personal will that you are invoking. You need to surrender to and be a conduit of group Divine Will, and focus on what is right action for the person you are trying to heal.

Phrases such as “within God’s Will” and “the highest good of all” are examples of how to invoke the desired healing and the necessary surrender of your personal will. There are many others. Whereas what protective phrase you use is not important, this harmony of using you mind and intention while concurrently surrendering to right action, highest good or Divine Will are essential “rules of the road” to energetic healing. That blending is a protection from the unintended consequences that can cause harm, which is certainly never the intent of healing.

Soul to Soul

It is important to build this invocation for Right Action into your thoughts and techniques of healing and “Laying on Hands.” Therefore it is important that when you offer healing Light you are offering it with Love, from your Soul to the Soul of the one who seeks healing in the full understanding that it is the Soul that brings the miracle of healing into fruition.

Formation of Groups

I would love to see the formation of groups with the focus to do energetic healing be the result of publishing this article. As I realize that I need to bring this article to a conclusion I am frustrated by the understanding that there is so much that is important to know about healing that I can share with you and that I wish to share with you that I find myself wondering about how that could best be provided.

In these days of the technology miracles of Skype, YouTube Live and a variety of other international and national possibilities, if you feel directed in your own meditations and prayers to form a group of like-minded individuals to learn more about energetic healing I invite you to make contact with me and I will consider and create a way that I can provide further teaching for you and your group.

Both my website and Facebook provide ways to contact me so we could together determine what would be most effective for you and the group that you gather for the purpose of healing. If you do not feel so directed at this time I invite you to watch for other articles and instruction on energetic healing that I will publish in my Super Serenity Sunday Articles and I encourage you to check back on my website and I will today commit to twelve more article on the subject of energetic healing. Everyone has the potential to be able to help in the healing of others and I am grateful that I can guide you in this important life service.

Lessons Learned From Injury and Illness

Lessons Learned From Injury and Illness

Insights into Healing

Insights into Healing - Genevieve Gerard - Super Serenity Sunday

This is another article in my on-going series on Healing.

I dare say there is not a single human being who has not at some time in their life longed for healing, either for themselves or for a loved one.

Prayers for healing are a part of every spiritual path. Beyond prayers for healing are the hopes and aspirations for a life (ours or a loved one’s) to be blessed with the strength and the vitality of health.

The fact that onset of illness or injury often stimulates prayers for Divine intervention gives a hint into the higher purpose dis-ease can play in your life.

It is the intrinsic nature of God and likewise the Soul to in all things work toward good.
               – Genevieve Gerard

It is hard to see suffering, injury or illness as a movement to the greater good, but I can say from the perspective of a healer, a teacher and a guide these experiences are often the catalyst that brings about great personal growth and transformation.

Having worked for many years with individuals through the challenges that injury and disease introduce into their life experience I can say with complete confidence that there is a purpose behind dis-ease. There are also lessons to be learned behind accidents that result in injury or disability. I have learned that healing is always possible. That these events or circumstances bring you to your knees in prayer or stimulates you to seek the healing power of your Soul is a significant factor. Ponder on this!

In many lives, the pain, injury, or disease or the possibility of death that underlies many a healing crisis becomes a transformational experience that creates opportunity for great growth.

This may be an unusual perspective on life experiences that are often feared and avoided, but after so very many years of helping people, I find this to be unquestionably true. In fact, over the years, this factor was so significant that I have given workshops and seminars for Doctors, therapist, health care professionals, and para-professionals on ways to help their patients both heal and come to an empowering resolution of these life-changing events.

In those days, I presented these ideas from a rehabilitation perspective and now I present them from a spiritual perspective but the message is the same.

I believe an injury, disease or disability comes into your life with a Higher Purpose. Discovering that purpose and aligning with that purpose often brings healing. This may sound strange but if you look at the people around you and most significantly at your own life experience you can sense the deep inner truth of that statement. To me, that has always been a comfort because I knew that when an individual got in touch with that purpose, miraculous healing became possible.

It was in my observation of these miraculous healings that I learned much about the working of the Soul and the healing power of the Soul. To see medical opinions having declared that some had only a very short time to live, and then see them go on to live happy and productive lives for years is amazing. Also to see someone with a severe and catastrophic injury be restored to a dynamic successful life stimulated me to learn more and understand more about the deeper nature of life and the role of the Soul in the healing process.

The role that God plays in these miraculous situations cannot be denied but neither can the role that the Soul plays. It is through observing the occurrence of miraculous events that I began to understand the co-creator role of a human being with the Divine. This dual dynamic of the Soul as the spark of the Divine that brings your life into right relationship with God, as a child of God, and observes that through His love and grace brings an activation of a wide variety of universal laws and principles, that makes real healing happen.

An invocation from one of my favorite meditation mantras says it best with the words.

Let the Soul control the outer form and life and all events to bring to Light the Love that underlies the happenings of time.

– Alice A. Bailey, Djwal Khul

Discipleship in the New Age, Vol. II (Mantram of Unification)

I have found when counseling and coaching people who are in need of healing that meditation can be used to support healing when it is focused on understanding their life purpose. This shift in focus can be very revealing.

Often it introduces new goals or creates a completely new direction. It is in this way that, a healing or health crisis is at times a significant life awakening that brings about transformation.

This change often starts with an alignment of Soul Light with your physical body, and emotions. It also may involve using the mind to gain greater control over the debilitating pain that so often accompanies injury or dis-ease. The Soul has controlling power over the body. This is often an inherent factor in healing.

Questions To Ask Yourself So You Can Heal

When asking for healing, either for oneself or a loved one there are some questions it is wise to consider.

Among these are:

What lessons are being revealed by the presence of the injury,
disease or illness?

What would be the best right action or outcome?

What restrictions of energy exist that may have contributed to the disease or illness?

Often clearing that energy block through insight, meditation and prayer can release the restriction so that your body begins to respond in a whole and healthy way. Releasing the blocked energy often requires insight and understanding of both the how and the why you have choked back the energy.

Do I need to forgive myself or someone else?

At times forgiving, either yourself or another can open the pathways for a natural flow of energy that can result in spontaneous healing.

As mentioned in the mantra shared above, the process of Soul or spiritual healing generally involves a bringing to Light what has held back the free and natural flow of energy. Prayer and the laying on of hands by those with healing intention are effective ways to stimulate the energetic flow that has become blocked or congested.

In any request for healing, I always recommend an invocation or caveat such as, “for the highest good of all” or “within God’s Will” or “in harmony with the laws of karma and the overall plan of evolution.”

These caveats clarify that the purpose of healing can be aligned with right action. Although it is difficult to consider, from the perspective of the eternal life of and nature of the Soul, the release of the physical body through death, especially when diseased and aged and losing the ability for healthy function, is a form of healing. That is why death is often seen as an angelic presence.

In the process of healing from the perspective of the eternal part of our being, death is a release. In saying this I am reminded of the words of St. Francis in his prayerit is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

The Soul is an integral element to all healing and works on all levels in natural alignment with both the implications of karma, the overall plan of evolution and in accordance with the highest good of all. Through its eternal nature the Soul has the wisdom of what is the right action in each and every life situation and circumstance and has complete and unconditional love for the one who needs to be healed.

Your Soul has been with you throughout all of eternity and will remain with you throughout the eternity that is still becoming. When it heals, it heals you on all levels and prepares you your next experience of life. Therefore, this union of you with your Soul is integral to all healing experiences in life.

This relationship of your Soul, God, and eternity are a part of the mystery and deep magic of life.

These are deep questions to be pondered, meditated upon and prayed about. It is often in the face of disease or the approach of the end of life that the peace of understanding and revelation are granted.

It is by surrendering to the healing power of the Soul that miracles happen, whether that miracle is the restoration of health and vitality or the entrance to the great adventure of eternal life. Ponder on this!

Namaste,

By your conscious decisions with your awareness and intention, you can have a dramatic impact on the joy you experience in your life.

The greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance. – Brian Tracy

When you transcend your own needs sufficiently to love someone without expectations or conditions you are opening your heart to a bond that can comfort and sustain you all the days of your life. To truly honor, cherish and treasure another without criticism or judgment is a way of loving that supports the good and the growth of the beloved. This is a powerful gift that is a transformative touch of the Divine.

2.   Forgive Yourself

Forgive yourself for your faults and your mistakes and move on.
– Les Brown

When you forgive yourself you are freeing yourself from the pain and bondage of the past, and are opening your life to the unlimited possibilities that all you have ever desired can manifest for you. You no longer need to bear the shame of past mistakes. You are now free to live your life in a way that is new and different from what has been to express your full power.

3.   Forgive Someone

When you forgive, you in no way change the past – but you sure do change the future. – Bernard Meltzer

When you forgive another, even of what may seem unforgivable you are creating a grace that frees you from past hurts as you enter into the NOW, no longer bound by what used to be. You are, by your forgiveness releasing both you and the other from the limitations of the past. Forgiveness changes everything. When you forgive you are enfolded in joyful grace and compassion. The one you have forgiven is now freed to become what they are meant to be.

4.   Express Gratitude

Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.
– Brian Tracy

Your expression of gratitude and appreciation opens a portal for abundance and blessing to flow freely to you from Source. It magnetically draws to you what you need to receive more of what you desire and what you need to manifest your Higher Purpose in Life.

5.   Align with Your Higher Self

When you connect with your Soul, also known as your Higher Self, you become aware of a part of yourself that is so glorious and magnificent that experience is often transformational and profound.
– Genevieve Gerard

By consciously aligning with and inviting your Soul presence into your life you are opening your mind to the wisdom and insight of your Higher Self. When you call upon Your Soul to guide you and listen in the silence to its promptings and guidance you are opening your life to living in a co-creator relationship with God.

6.   Practice Harmlessness

Make a habit of two things: to help; or at least to do no harm.
– Hippocrates

As you move through the events and circumstances of your life this week consider your words before you speak and the potential impact they may have on others in light of the principle of Harmlessness. Thinking of the impact of your words and actions on others transforms your relationship into stronger, healthier and more mutually supportive and loving bonds.

7.   Give Generously of the Gifts You Have Received

True generosity is an offering; given freely and out of pure love. No strings attached. No expectations. Time and love are the most valuable possession you can share. – Suze Orman

When you give to others freely and without fear, you open a portal of abundance and blessing into your life. An important part of abundance is the multiplication factor of giving and sharing. Each time you freely share and freely give you are demonstrating your faith in the future and reinforcing the powerful thought form that you have enough and you are enough for whatever the future brings.

8.   Surrender Your Personal Will to Divine Will

Whatever I will become will be what God has chosen for me.
– Elvis Presley

When you surrender your personal Will to Divine Will your life is guided by a sense of purpose and joy that is sustained. By this mighty marriage of doing all that you can do with the alignment of your physical acts of doing, with action, your emotions freed from fear and your mind with clear intention, surrendering an affirming that God’s Will and God’s wisdom are greater than what we can see and know from our human perspective you are imbuing and empowering your life with a Higher Purpose as revealed from your Source of Higher Power.

9.   Release Your Fears

Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones. – Thich Nhat Hanh

When you release your fears, you take your place as a co-creator with Source in your life manifesting what you need spontaneously. Your mind is the most powerful creative force on earth. When you release your fears, you stop creating what you don’t want and you are empowered to create the life you are meant to live. Each time you release a fear and replace the negative thought with a positive thought from your mind, and align with your Soul and life purpose, you are gaining power to manifest the success an abundance that you envision and desire.

10.   Love Yourself

I have an everyday religion that works for me. Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line. – Lucille Ball

When you love yourself, you are affirming the truth that you are a beloved child of God and will be nurtured and provided for with love. When you accept and love yourself, you are aligning to empower your life with the guidance and wisdom of yourself to help you be and become all that you are meant to be.

When you bring your body, your heart and your mind into unity and relationship with your Soul, the universe expands to incorporate a vision that is timelessly and endlessly sustained by love.

By opening yourself to the love of your Soul you realize a state of oneness and unity that transcends the material world so that you may fly on the wings endless bliss, peace and joy beyond time or space.

When you are aligned with the power and the purpose of your Soul, magic, and miracles manifest. You are able to use the fullness of your being in the joyous expression of your human adventure as a Divine child of God here on earth.

If you open your heart and your mind and your Soul to each of these thoughts and intentions each morning of the day as a part of your spiritual practice, you are tuning up your life to use the gifts you have received to have a happier and more fulfilling life.

By focusing on your intention to manifest these qualities in your life this week, you will find more joy, more peace, and more prosperity in your life by this time next week.

I wish you the best as you open up to ways to change your life and experience transformation.

Namaste,

Genevieve

The Blessing of Love on all that you do!
