Letting Angels Teach Us the Meaning of Love

We are told in the stories of Creation that God created the Heavens and the Earth.

That may be a statement that has sometimes given you pause, or, it may be something that never crosses your mind; or something you have never considered.

The mystery of Angels is that they are beings of Spirit and Light while we, as humans, are beings of Spirit and Matter.

Tradition tells us that Angels are the messengers of God. With the evolution of science in human consciousness, the role of Angels diminished. Humanity has in the recent past become more limited by its collective insistence that only what is experienced through the five senses is real.

An amazing aspect of consciousness is that it is always totally subjective. Without a concept in your mind, you cannot perceive. This is a part of life’s mystery. This is why determining what is real, and differentiating what is unreal is such a significant part of the spiritual journey.

There is a common folk saying that “seeing is believing.” Yet, we cannot see the energy of radio waves but we now know they are there. Ultimately, I believe it is also true that “believing is seeing.” Ponder on this.

Understanding the laws of matter and relying on your five senses is one way you may see the world, but, it is not the only way. Sensation and perception can open you to what is known as the sixth sense. Just acknowledging the possibility that there is more to reality than what you might experience with your limited five senses can shift your awareness. The truth is “we don’t know what we don’t know.”

Here is a secret; opening your awareness is necessary if you want to communicate and learn from Angels.

Greater Awareness Is Coming

Communicating with Angels is something that has changed in these emerging times. It is important to understand that consciousness is a part of livingness in every form in which life is expressed. Consciousness is an ongoing process of both evolution and involution as an expression of life itself.

At this time in human evolution, consciousness is transforming to a greater awareness of reality. A new consciousness is emerging that empowers the human experience to encompass more than just dense matter. The world of the Soul and the awareness of Spirit is in greater awareness. The substance of your Soul is Spirit and Light. Connecting with your Soul Light opens you to the presence and communion with the Angelic Kingdom.

The separation that has long existed between these two realms, Spirit and Matter, Human and Angelic have been thinning. This phenomenon is sometimes referred to as “the thinning of the veil.” The tasks of the evolution of consciousness are becoming more permeable and interactive than in previous times.

This change seems to be a part of the creation of a “new heaven and a new earth” that is part of the prophecy of the emerging consciousness. This foretold creation impacts the relationship between Angels and humanity that is compatible with the evolution in consciousness of both realms.

Messenger of God

In ancient stories of Angels appearing to humanity, the Angels were portrayed as messengers. Angels, being more recognizable and compatible to human life arrived and were visible to communicate important messages. The stories related often speak to the fear that humans had of Angelic Presence since the very first thing the Angels would say is “be not afraid.”

Fear is a common response of the human experience when presented with what is unfamiliar and unknown.

Special Angels, often Archangels, were chosen for these missions. And, although these stories are rare and noteworthy, they are sufficiently common for humanity to understand that Angels are real and a part of the relationship between humanity and the Divine.

The role of a Guardian Angel is an example of how the angelic kingdom is aware of the challenges of the human experience. A special relationship exists between an individual and their Guardian Angel. That relationship is forged between your Soul and the Angel that takes on the charge of being your Guardian Angel in your life.

What is significant to understand and honor in these times of the thinning of the veil between heaven and earth is that both humanity and the Angels are constantly expanding their consciousness and awareness. Angels and humanity, although on different pathways of evolving consciousness have a relationship. This relationship is about different ways of experiencing the divine.

What We Can Learn From Angels

What is amazing is that these two very different manifestations of life and consciousness are learning similar lessons. Learning these lessons in a body composed of matter is very different from learning these lessons as a being of Spirit and Light.

Humanity, as it evolves and ascends its consciousness to the ever greater awareness of Light, Love, and Spirit, have much they can learn from Angels. Now, with the thinning of the veil between Heaven and Earth greater communication is possible. The Angels remain messengers, as they have always been, but their ability to communicate, teach us and guide us is expanding.

Teaching Us The Meaning of Love

At this time, I believe mostly what they are teaching humanity is about Love. Learning to Love, and ultimately infusing and transforming matter with Love in an epic transformation. This lesson is integral to humanity evolving (beyond its animal nature) and is essential for planet earth to become a sacred planet.

Humanity is learning to Love, and Love infusing matter is the mystery of redemption that expands into Cosmic levels of purpose.

Angels are engaged in this Divine purpose to help and support humanity in accomplishing this transition. The result of the separation of the world of matter from the Angelic realm thinning is an increased opportunity for communion and communication. The presence of Angels is moving more and more into human awareness. Perception is expanding beyond the five senses.

Meditation, prayer, and humanities reach for the Angels and the longing for the true meaning of love are revealing more and more. The Angelic communication to human consciousness is mostly telepathic and is most often perceived as a whisper of the still quiet voice that is also the tool of your Soul (Higher Self) guiding you.

The Angels are committed to the fulfillment of what is aligned with Divine Will for you in your life. Indeed, since Angels do not have free will like humans have, they can do no other.

What We Can Teach The Angels

As the Angels are emerging more and more to help humanity learn about Love, they are being exposed to what free will means. I can only imagine that they are learning from humanity as they help humanity as part of their own angelic involutionary path back to mankind.

Certainly, the increased exposure to human emotion, particularly the pain of unfulfilled desire is a learning experience. Human life, confined in matter and emotionally subject to the astral plane requires a major shift in consciousness. In order for the Angels to support humanity in this great lesson of Love, they must become more aware of the trials and tribulations of the human life experience.

This is a great sacrifice the Angels are making. When they reveal themselves to you in these emerging times I encourage you to be thankful for the sacrifice of service that they are offering to you. Even to embody matter sufficiently for you to see them, hear them and sense them is different from their essence of Spirit and Light. Have compassion and gratitude and do not abuse their service to humanity.

As this process of revelation increases, the only way humanity can repay their sacrifice is by opening to the highest levels of Love and merging your Love with theirs. When they see life on earth being transformed by Love, and how their gift brings new awareness and consciousness to humanity their joy will expand. Angels will demonstrate a new integrated way of being that is infused with Love and aligned with Divine Will. I encourage you to honor them with love as the blessing that they are to humanity and to your life and growth.

What Would Jesus Do Today?

Ask yourself,
what would Jesus do today?

This is a question to ask yourself if you consider yourself a Christian.

When I started this article, I was directed to address it to the American Evangelical Church, because of the moral and political crisis that is facing that group in this moment of history.

The more I meditated and prayed on this time in the world; I realized that the problems being faced by the world today are being experienced around the world, in every geopolitical environment because they are the spiritual challenge facing humanity right now.

It Is A Time Of Crisis

Across the planet, throughout the Country, throughout the church, people are being called to make decisions about what is wrong, and what is right, what is not moral and what is moral.

It is a time of crisis, indeed in the United States of America, yet, when I take a more realistic and global look at this moment in the evolution of human life and consciousness, the decisions and choices are being played out on a world stage and apply to all nations.

When I was first directed in my meditation to write this message, I must admit I resisted it. I suggested the spiritual insights and guidance would reach the evangelical community better through ministers who focus on serving this group. They are well known and would undoubtedly be listened to better than I, and although a Christian I am not of the evangelical tribe.

As I argued and resisted with myself internally, I was then reminded that I often pray “here I am Lord, use me.” I was being asked to honor my word. The Lord was asking to use me. Would I turn my back in disobedience, or was I a woman of my word?

So, prayerfully and meditatively I opened my mind, my heart, and my Soul to listen to the message I was being called to share. My argument that I was not worthy was countered by the reminder that those called to deliver a message from God often felt unworthy. My Biblical knowledge flashed through a myriad of stories of the dire and disastrous consequences of those called to deliver a message from God, and the results when they tried to flee or disobey God’s call.

Chastised and committed to obedience in my meditation, I picked up my proverbial pen (although, it is a computer) re-entered a prayerful and receptive meditative state and began to record the thoughts and impressions being sent through me to this community.

What Would Jesus Do?

I was reminded that among Evangelical Christians many strive to live their faith by asking themselves the question, “What would Jesus do?” This was the question I was guided to ask in this letter.

It is abundantly clear that asking that question is an excellent way to consider the many life choices we are called upon to make.

As I continued to ponder and consider the direction, I realized that the value and import of this question were broader than just one country or only one church.

However, the need for this article to be sent to and directed to Evangelical Christians is clear.

If you are an Evangelical Christian, or if you know Evangelical Christians I ask your help in sending this article to that group, for that was my initial instruction and purpose for writing this article.

As I continued to pray and meditate on this question “What would Jesus Do?” my thoughts expanded. In the history of humanity, the choices Jesus made were so powerful and profound that over two thousand years later we are in awe of what he taught and demonstrated in His life and more amazingly in His death and sacrifice.

To make your life and moral choices by the guidance of the question “What would Jesus Do” can be a tough moral standard to follow. His path was not an easy path, and choosing what is right over what is wrong may never be the easy way.

Human nature and being human is vulnerable to pride. Self-righteousness and assurance of moral superiority are sins we must all consider when we make a moral choice.

To take a stand for right action in life, especially if you consider “what Jesus would do” requires that you answer how Love is served, how harmlessness and compassion are demonstrated.

With that in mind, I am reminded of the parable Jesus told as guidance for following Him.

The parable in Matthew 25:40 Jesus said:

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (New International Bible Version)

Now I believe that of all the lessons that Jesus taught and all of the ways he guided those who say they follow Him, there is no better guide for our moral decision to determine what you should do, than those words. So, I ask you to consider the moral and political choices of today’s world and challenges by examining the question of “what would Jesus do?”

What would Jesus do about . . . immigration? Would he close the borders to refugees? Would he deport the DACA young people and deprive them the opportunity to live their lives and fulfill their Soul purpose because they are of a different culture?

Would Jesus deprive children of Health Care because their parents are poor? Would he deprive the disabled of Medicare? Would He defund Health insurance supplements for working families in need?

What would Jesus do about the Homeless, especially Homeless and Disabled Veterans?

Would Jesus eliminate funding for breakfast for school-age children or meals for seniors?

Would he punish addiction by profitable prisons, or might he support treatment and rehabilitation?

“What would Jesus do?” is a question I invite all of you to consider in light of the many issues and challenges coming before the American people and Evangelical Christians in these troubling times.

There is in our world and in our society a battle for the Soul of America. If America is to be a Christian nation as I believe the Evangelical Christian Church desires, then we must behave in a way that is congruent with the teachings of Matthew 25:40, or risk being rejected by the King as the parable teaches.

Asking the question “What would Jesus do today?” is a call of conscience to not only the Evangelical Church but to the Catholic Church and every denomination that identifies as Christian.

Many countries have made these decisions, yet I write especially to the United States of America today because she is in a battle for the Soul of American over the forces of greed.

Make A Choice & Take A Stand

If you want America to be a Christian Nation, then you must in your political life take a stand.

The forces of greed and selfishness are strong. Asking yourself “what would Jesus do?” will help you consider what you can do to solve many of these social and societal issues. What are you funding to support and help in the world? Does it reflect what Jesus would do, or does it support the forces of selfishness and greed?

These are the questions every citizen who identifies themselves as a Christian are being called to consider. It is not easy to follow Christ. Jesus was an example that we all fall short of achieving. As I pen these words, I remember that in every Christian variation is the creed and affirmation that Christ will come again.

The promise, the hope and the belief of the reappearance of the Christ cross all the divisions in the Christian faith. We are told of His coming, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Matthew 24:36.

We, as Christians are charged to live every day prepared for His coming. Certainly, looking at the choices and changes in the world today, the world may well be preparing for that moment. Are you?

Are the causes you are supporting today compatible with you being more than a Sunday morning Christian? Are you living your life and making your political decisions based on the guidance of the question, “What would Jesus Do?”

Are you making the choices as if your Lord himself were one of the disenfranchised, needy and poor? Do you see Jesus in the face of every person? Are you following His commandment, indeed His only commandment to Love, but to your neighbor as yourself?

These are the questions I was guided to place before you as a member of the Christian movement. This is the message I was directed to offer to you from my morning prayers and meditations.

There are significant decisions before you in our modern world, in our country, America and indeed in every country across the planet.

We need to decide who and what defines us as a culture, as a society. I invite you and encourage you to take direction and guidance of your faith as you ask yourself and then answer, “What would Jesus Do Today?”

Before I close this article and my own prayerful meditations I am guided to offer you a prayer to support you in your desire to follow the teachings of Jesus. This is a prayer to support you as you strive to walk your talk, to demonstrate to the world what Jesus would do.

Lord, I Want To Be Like Jesus Prayer

Let Us Pray

Beloved Lord,

I humbly ask that you come to me and guide me in the choices I make today. Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart and in my life.

I open my heart to the power of the Holy Spirit that I may find the strength to Love my neighbor as myself.

As I invite the Love of the Christ into my heart compassion fills me. In the face of every stranger let me see the face of Jesus. Let every act of kindness be of service to you my beloved Lord. So, you instructed us, and so I strive to be more like you today.

I know I may fall short of being able to accomplish this, so I surrender to the Love of the Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to fill me and infuse me so that I may be an active demonstration of what Jesus would do.

As I offer myself to this work and service, I ask that not my will but thine be done, through me.

Help me to consider harmlessness as I consider the plight of others. Please guide my thoughts and words. Grant me the strength to stand up for what my heart and Love tell me are right action in this world of sorrow and need.

Lord empower me to see your face in everyone I see that I may express my gratitude to you for your sacrifice by my own service to those you called “the least of these my brethren.”

Help me remember that my service to the hungry and sick, the refugees and prisoners, the addicts and alcoholics is my service to You.

Let me be a living example of Your life, Your Love and Your Grace. Let me be a source of good in the world.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

I Want To Be My Whole Self

This article is part of my ongoing series on Soul Awakening.

When your lower-self (your personality [body, emotions, and mind]) merges with your higher-self (your Soul which is the essential part of you into which your Divine Spark is embedded) you become empowered by your whole-self.

In your natural life journey, there is a development process that goes on throughout your life between your lower-self (personality) and your higher-self (Soul.)

This developmental process occurs naturally but for you may be unconscious. When you invite the integrative process of your Soul to merge with your personality, you bring into your consciousness a greater awareness and empowerment of your life’s purpose.

Most likely, inviting your Soul to be an active player in your life is not something you learned to do in Sunday School. After countless hours in churches and listening to countless hours of homilies and sermons I can say the Soul is rarely mentioned. Even the Bible does not specifically teach you how to activate and engage with your Soul.

Although throughout your life, your Soul may have opened to you its presence, your conscious awareness of your Soul may have well been hit or miss. You may have felt your Soul most present in times of heart-wrenching sorrow when a loved one has died. And, that pain and compassion may have driven you to your knees and opened your mind and heart to the Presence of your Soul, although it’s doubtful that you were consciously aware that your Soul was the comforter.

I believe your Soul may have given you insight through your intuition that may have saved you or a friend from harm’s way.

I believe that your Soul is willing to step in at times of crisis as an act of Love or Grace, but to really provide the power and majesty of which it is capable it requires a relationship.

Most likely you have been raised from infancy to focus on your five material senses as the way you experience the world. Any insights you may have experienced beyond the reality of those physical senses is usually discouraged by parents, adults and those who are not seeing or feeling what you might be experiencing. This limitation is factual across most cultures and is especially true in the Western world.

This emphasis on the physical and material world has led to a long span of evolution that denies awareness of the spiritual realm. This tendency has limited the education and knowledge of the Soul to mystics such as Hafiz, King David (in the Psalms) or Osho. Without this spiritual education, you are left with a part of you that is missing.

You may have unconsciously longed for contact from and connection with your Soul, while steadfastly ignoring or denying the reality of anything spiritual. You may have turned to religion to find out about your Soul, but religion, unfortunately, is currently usually not the source for learning how to develop a relationship with your Soul.

All religions are true, but none are literal.

The core belief of these spiritual writings of King David, Hafiz, Osho, and other spiritual writers you might cherish is that within every human heart is the longing for connection and relationship with your Soul.

No matter which religions or religious beliefs each of these inspired writers serve, their words call to you because the Soul, your Soul, is calling to be part of you through their wise words.

How To Be Whole

If you listen to the yearning of your heart, you will find a longing to love and be loved. Your Soul is the portal of Divine Love. When you bring your Soul into active relationship with your personality, body, emotions, and mind, you start a process of integration that brings joy and wisdom to your life. This Soul integration with your personality makes you whole.

The Soul is universal and beyond any dogma or religion. Connecting with your Soul, and engaging in the process of merging your Soul with your lower-self “personality” is also beyond any dogma or doctrine. It is universal and the next step in the spiritual journey of humanity.

Almost everybody agrees that you have a Soul. When touched, that awareness opens you to the true nature of the Divine and the unifying principle of Love that transcends religious bigotry or dogma disagreements.

When you consciously open your life to increased Soul awareness and Soul control, you are engaging in what I have referred to as Soul/Personality merging. Something I have called “The Greatest Merger and Acquisition Project Ever.” This is when you can live a full life that is Soul infused.

Advantages of Connecting With Your Soul

Connecting with your Soul connects you with your internal source for Divine Wisdom and Divine Guidance. Your Soul is the teacher that always knows and understands what you need at every phase and step of your life. Your Soul as your teacher and guide aligns you with the Divine, however, you understand the Divine to be.

PHYSICALLY

To bring your Soul Light into your physical body facilitates healing on many levels. For some, it is resolution and relief of pain. It can also manifest as a sense of deep and profound relaxation. When aligned with your Soul, it might be that you realize that your breath is more accessible, more profound and each breath you breathe is more fulfilling.

EMOTIONALLY

To bring your Soul Light into your emotional body frees you to forgive, let go of deep and troubling resentments. It fills you with a profound peace and calm that releases closely held negative emotions, such as fear and anger. As your emotional body fills with Soul Light, there is also an activation of Love, deep in your heart. That Love brings you awareness of unconditional love and Divine Love.

MENTALLY

Inviting your Soul Light into your mind opens you to insight and ignites your intuition. It also activates more creative thinking and has a dynamic impact on problem-solving in your life.

It is because of all of these powerful advantages that with every guided meditation that I create I invite you into the meditative state by asking you to “Calm Your Mind,” “Open Your Heart,” and “Invite the Light of your Soul.”

Your “personality” is the integrator of those three significant energies of the human experience. When you consciously and with an intention (supported by meditation) affirm these embedded suggestions you are taking a significant step forward in your human evolution experience.

You are embarking on an adventure to become a new kind of human being, a human being who is aware of and in touch with their Divine Spark and their co-creatorship with God. When your lower-self merges with your higher-self you become empowered by your whole-self.

This awareness begins a quest not only to live life but live it more fully. The adventures on this quest may bring you in touch with much that is unknown to you as you start down this path. That is true of any great quest or adventure. There is much your Soul knows and wishes to teach you about your true nature that is beyond the current knowledge of humans at this time.

Merging your personality with your Soul opens your life to new possibilities. It is a magnificent adventure upon which humanity is only now embarking. You can be the explorer of this merged awareness.

I invite you to join me in this exploration into the full power of what it means to be a human being, a being that is a part animal man but is also a creative living evolving spark of the Divine. I invite you to Be and Become All You Are Meant to Be.

You Need to Know What Happens When You
Let Your Soul Be In Control

This article is a continuation of my ongoing series on Soul Awakening.

Many of the solutions to life’s challenges are simple. That does not make them easy.

Free Will is an essential part of the human experience.

I believe the personality, the “lower self,” must make the conscious choice to surrender to Divine Will, the “higher self” or Soul. Without that conscious choice, the choice to choose Love, the choice to put your Soul in control cannot give you the full power of your Soul.

It is with your decision to bring your Soul into a conscious partnership that you are empowered to work with the Angels and activate spirit to elevate the world of matter, that real enlightenment can happen.

By the very word, enlightenment requires bringing Light into the substance of matter. This is the destiny of humanity.

The merging of your Soul, with your completely human body, emotions, personality, and mind is what I have called the “Greatest Merger and Acquisition” ever.

It was to fulfill this blending of spirit and matter, light and dark; personal will surrendered to Divine Will that the Creator designed the human adventure. Something magical and mystical happens when Love (the nature of your Soul) is infused into matter (the substance of the world.)

It was to bring Divine Love into manifestation into the world of matter that the struggle of life exists.

Matter, by its very nature, is devoid of Love. Only through humanity learning to Love and surrendering to Divine Love can in this dual consciousness of Soul and Personality can the denseness of matter be infused by Love, can the denseness of matter be inspired by Soul Light.

This is the fuel of miracles and the purpose of life. Not just to learn how to Love, but to let Love so thoroughly into your life that the very atomic matter of your being, your heart, merges with your mind into your Soul, whose nature is Love. Ponder on this.

Learning To Love

Your human adventure offers you the opportunity to learn and grow until Love is clearly the answer. Surrendering to Love is your path to joy. When surrendering to Love becomes your personal Free Will you automatically align with Divine Will.

Today, I invite you to choose Divine Love. By making that choice, you have activated your free will on a path that aligns you with the teachings and wisdom of your Soul. When you choose Divine Love, you are allowing your personality access to transforming power.

When you choose Divine Love, you become an agent of Divine Will here on planet earth.

I understand, although simple, it is far from easy to surrender to Divine Love and Divine Will. But don’t worry, the resistance you have to this kind of surrender is what makes you human.

Each and every time you are able to remain open to Divine Love and aligned with and surrendered to Divine Will you are taking a giant step forward in human evolution.

The fact that you are reading this article today speaks volumes to your openness to making a difference in your life.

The longing you have to be able to remain in a state of Love and aligned with Divine Will speaks to the presence of your Soul. The nature of your Soul is Love. It is with Love you can open to the wonder and wisdom of your Soul.

This walk in life with a human body, buffeted with needs and desires is a new kind of human being, a new kind of consciousness that is just emerging in the human experience. To let your Soul be in control, while still walking in the world of sorrows is a whole new kind of experience in human life.

When you walk through life as the powerful and amazing being that you indeed are, you are thinning the veil between heaven and earth. You are demonstrating the consciousness of Love.

Bringing Your Soul Into Control

The integration of your Soul with your personality is the result of lifetimes of lessons of love and karma. The release of personal will to Divine Will is a lesson learned long ago by the Angels.

Coming from a Soul perspective shifts awareness of the illusions, glamor’s and desires of the world of matter to bring an understanding of what is true and real.

Each and every time you put your Soul in control you are fulfilling your destiny as the spark of Divine Light that you were created to be.

When you put your Soul in control, you automatically align with Love. You activate your co-creator potential that came from the Creator with the breath of life.

Your whole perspective changes when you are integrating your Soul with your personality. Harmlessness becomes effortless.

Kindness and compassion flow from your heart as you are moved by the sorrow and suffering of others. You are aware of a unity of Spirit that makes clear your Oneness with all of Life.

Humanities next significant step forward is to master this dual perspective, this dual consciousness, and then bring it into the world.

To merge with your Soul, to restrain any selfishness you may be tempted by, is a significant step forward in the consciousness of humanity. It is the evolution of a new kind of human being. One who is in relationship and communion with the Divine.

Imagine, for a moment if you will, just how this world would be different if your Soul were in control. Imagine if government and society were to follow the Law of Divine Love. Imagine if the guidelines for the laws were crafted and passed with the principle of the Highest Good For All.

That would undoubtedly usher in a “Heaven on Earth.” That would fulfill the prophecies of old of Peace on Earth, a time when the Lion could lie down with the Lamb. These predictions and dreams have fueled all world religions because they are the plan in the mind of the Creator that humanity was created to fulfill.

It takes only a moment of both self-awareness and life awareness to see how far humanity is from manifesting that vision that has been foretold. Yet, it is by learning to Love, by bringing your Soul into control and by merging your personal will into Divine Will that the best chance for humanity manifests.

To help you on this path I have created an affirmation that you can say as often as you like.

Love & Light Are My Lanterns Affirmation

Today, I call upon my Guardian Angels, my Spiritual Inner Plane Guides, to provide help and assistance in my life that I may fulfill my life destiny and purpose to manifest God’s Will for my highest good and the highest good of all.

I surrender to and invoke the wisdom of my Soul as I place my Soul in control.

I do this to learn the lessons of Divine Love and to teach others the transforming empowerment of love and light.

As I sacrifice my little will and align my life and purpose with Divine Will, I assert and affirm that: “Purpose Itself Am I.”

To manifest this awareness in my physical reality, it is necessary to allow: “Two Minds to Unite.”

And to let “The Highest Light Control.”

To do this, I must “See the Greatest Light.”

This blending of my Soul with my lower self occurs as a simultaneous act of invocation and evocation. In so doing I open my life to the fulfillment and furtherance of a plan that is held in the mind of God.

I acknowledge that the Saints, the Hierarchy and those who have served humanity to bring about the manifestation of this Divine Plan will guide and direct me as I put aside my personal lower will.

As I remain aligned and open to Divine Will, I realize that my joy, my bliss, and my fulfillment are found in that merger.

Each and every time that I am able to restrain my personal needs and desires, I am learning to Love, and I am strengthened and supported by resources more amazing and vast than I can imagine.

Love & Light are my lanterns. Through Divine Love, I can align in full faith and confidence knowing that Divine Will has the Divine Wisdom of a purpose and plan that is beyond what I can see from the vision of my individuated lower self. As I merge with that Divine Will and Wisdom, I relax and release all of the needs that have burdened my life.

Through my open connection to my Soul, the heavenly hosts are available to provide the healing that those I encounter in my life so desperately need.

Through my merger with Divine Will for the Highest Good of All, I am assured that I will do no harm through the unintended consequences of my personal ego or desire nature.

I walk this path of dual consciousness and awareness with vigilance, and thus I stand. I am a point of light within a greater light, and thus I stand. I am a strand of loving energy within the stream of cosmic love, and thus I stand. And standing thus enlightens the way for others.

What Your Soul Can Do For You Today

This article is part of my ongoing series on Soul Awakening.

Your Soul, also often referred to as your Higher Self, is an integral part of who you are and what you are.

You probably believe you have a Soul, yet, your Soul is probably something which you give very little or no thought or attention.

Perhaps, as a child, you said a nighttime prayer as you memorized the words of a famous children’s prayer “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.”

But now, as an adult, the concept of having a Soul may not cross your mind.

If you are a participant of A.A. (Alcoholics Anonymous) or N.A. (Narcotics Anonymous), you may have wondered about step 2 of turning your life over to a Higher Power.

You may even have relegated the concept of your Soul to only matter as the eternal part of you that only matters when you die. Then you may imagine your Soul may go to heaven, or return to God.

Welcome To The Beauty Of Your Soul

Today, I would like to make you aware of your Soul as a dynamic, active and vital part of your life. A part of your life that can make you more healthy, joyful, and empowered.

I would like to introduce you to your Soul, not as something you tuck away to call upon as your life is fading away. I would like to introduce you to your Soul as a source of wisdom, a portal to divine energy that can impact and influence every day of your life starting today.

I would like to bring you into awareness of a tool that can help you every day in your life. I would like to introduce you to your Higher Self and encourage you to begin a lifelong adventure of integration and awareness that will change your life for the better, that will ultimately awaken your life.

Your Soul is more than simply the part of you that is eternal and therefore grants you access to eternal life when your material body fails and fades.

Your Soul is designed to be an active part of the wholeness of your being. It exists to be a resource engaged in your life adventure, a companion on the quest for love, for success and happiness.

Empowerment

The reason that A.A. and N.A. teach that it is important to turn your life over to a Higher Power is that by so doing you are empowered. You are empowered by the part of you that has always been there, and will always be there to help and support you, your own Soul. You just need to awaken it.

Your Soul is not separate from God; however, you define God to be, because your Soul is the spark of Divine Light that was granted to you as you became an individuated life.

It is the part of your anatomy that maintains a connection that is eternal. No matter what you do. No matter how many mistakes you make. No matter if you stumble or fall, that connection cannot be severed.

Your Soul, like God, always works for good. It has the power to heal you once you have learned whatever life lessons dis-ease may have entered your life to teach you. From the perspective of eternity and the Divine, your life experience is designed to teach and empower you to reach higher states of consciousness.

Major Life Lessons

The Ageless Wisdom speaks of these life lessons regarding your Soul giving you the power and strength to overcome your lower urges driven by your material nature, to greater Soul control as four major life lessons.

In each of these four major life challenges, it is your Soul that stands by to help and support you in transcending the lure or temptation of your lower (animal) self.

These four major life lessons can be broken down into:

Overcome the Desires of the Flesh – the physical part of your nature. Among these are the needs and urges that are sometimes called the seven deadly sins. They include Lust, Gluttony, Avarice or Greed, Sloth or Laziness, Wrath, Envy or Pride. I would like to re-frame these seven human challenges as the issues you are faced with in life.

Although these are sometimes called sins, I consider that they are simply the result of selfish and self-centered identification. They are tendencies and mistakes that you make when you see yourself as separate from others and separate from God.

Managing Emotions – Inherent in life lessons are also learning to manage emotions by learning to transmute, transform and transcend fear, anger, jealousy, and Ego.
Mastering the Thoughts of Your Mind – Overcoming worries, fears, negative self-talk and limiting beliefs.
Surrendering to Your Spiritual Nature – Using your Soul to integrate and master your physical, emotional and mental full lower natures (ego.)

Because these are the urges and desires of your physical and emotional nature, your Soul is ready, willing and able to help you gain mastery over these aspects of life so you can learn what it is to express Love.

The Nature of Your Soul is Love

Learning to Love is what your life adventure is about. If you break down the seven deadly sins, they can all be summarized as not expressing the highest form of Love.

As learning how to Love is the business of life, so teaching you how to Love and opening you to Love is the business of the Soul in your life.

Your Soul is available to help you transmute, transform and transcend any and all aspects of your lower-self that keep you separated from the highest forms of love. Among these lower-aspects are addictions to alcohol, food, sex, cigarettes or drugs. The power of your Soul to empower you to conquer these urges is why all of the Anonymous programs encourage step 2 in the A.A. model.

Connecting with your Soul and surrendering your addiction to the healing power of your Soul gives you the strength and ability to conquer physical desires and cravings.

Likewise, being guided by your Soul frees you from the emotional attachments of desire that led the Buddha to acknowledge that life was suffering and that attachment was the cause of the suffering. Attachment is not love, although it can easily get confused with Love.

Love is life’s greatest gift. Love is life’s greatest blessing. Love is eternal. It is perhaps the one thing we can create as material beings that open us to our eternal and Divine nature.

Your Soul can guide you to learning to Love, not the “sticky and needy” love of attachment, but rather the freeing and inspiring Love of the Spirit. It is that which is eternal, empowering and life transforming.

Your Soul is a resource to empower you to be all that you can be. Through Soul Awakening, you are open to who you truly are as a “child of God” who is also the “Son of Man (Human).” It is your Soul that keeps you connected with God, and with the whole heavenly realm of angelic beings. It is your Soul that is your internal and external source of truth and wisdom.

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

By activating and engaging in a conscious awakening of your Soul, you activate peace, love, and joy in your life. By surrendering to the wisdom of your Soul in times of trouble and confusion, temptation or terror, you are opening to living life abundantly.

I leave you today with a little Mantram of Unification I have adapted that you may find helpful to affirm out loud daily:

I let my Soul control my outer form in my life and all events so it may bring to Light the Love that underlies the happenings of time.

Let wisdom come with insight. Let the future stand revealed. Let inner wisdom demonstrate and any outer illusions be gone. Let Love prevail in my life.

Pray For My Country

Across the planet in every country we, the people and citizens are noticing that the winds of change are blowing.

More than any time in my life or recollection it seems to be a time that the people are being called upon to make a stand, a stand that will determine and influence the direction and life of your county, and by extension, the world.

Recently in my meditation I created a prayer for the people to invite and invoke the help and support of the Creator, however, you envision the Divine force in life.

By whatever name you call upon the Divine force, it is working through humanity on a plan that was created concurrently with the creation of the first man and the first woman on the planet.

Creation is an ongoing process that fuels the evolution of consciousness in ways beyond our comprehension and understanding.

As you say this prayer feel free to change it in a way that reflects the wisdom and yearning of your Soul.

Your prayer, your intention, your invitation, and invocation attract to your place in the world the help you see needed in the dynamic co-creation of humanity and the Creator.

As you say this prayer you are joining with the prayers of citizens around the world to make this world a better place. Join your heart, mind, and Soul with the men and woman of Goodwill all across the planet as all seek to make this world a better place.

Prayer For My Country

Divine Creator,

Our troubled world needs help. With faith and hope, we turn to You to guide the happenings of these times.

We pray for Peace, that every man, woman, and child can be safe.

Guide the leaders of our country to turn away from the conflicts that separate us from others. Inspire them to find the ways to unity and cooperation with other lands and governments.

We pray that those who make the laws that govern us are moved by compassion and consider their decisions in keeping with their understanding of what fosters Right Relationships.

We ask that how Love is best served be woven into the laws of our land and Harmlessness is considered in all regulations to serve all with equality and justice.

The morality of our country is embedded in every law, help our legislators to consider the moral implications of the decisions they make.

Please protect our leaders from the evil of greed and selfishness that they may find the moral strength and courage to do the right thing for the highest good of all.

Our leaders and our legislators are tempted by evil every day. We pray for them to find the strength in their hearts and minds to stand firm against those temptations to do what they know to be the right thing for the people they represent and govern.

Help the people to find the strength and courage to stand up for what they believe and know to be Right Action.

We seem to be at a time in the human story when it is more important than ever to make a stand for what we believe. It may not be easy to stand in Your truth and in Your power so we ask that You empower us with Your guidance and strength.

Protect the poor and disenfranchised from the tyranny of oppression that every life may be granted the freedom and opportunity to fulfill its Divine purpose.

We know deep down that every life, every Soul, has a purpose. Let education and employment fuel the engines of our success; so that creativity and Divine Inspiration can benefit all of humanity.

Inspire our leaders with wisdom so that solutions to the problems of the day can be found and grant them the courage to stand up for those who cannot stand for themselves.

It is not always easy to do the right thing, to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Courage and strength are needed by those who strive to do the right thing. I ask that these men and woman of good will be provided the Divine blessings to strengthen and fortify their efforts of service.

In all that we pray we surrender to the wisdom of Divine Will that this world may manifest Your Purpose and Your Plan for all of humanity. Let me stand as a vessel of your Divine Love.

For these blessings we give thanks.

And it is So.

Experience Love Being First

This post is a part of my ongoing series on Love.

It is a simple truth that Love is more powerful than hate.

Love is not simply an emotion, but a dynamic transforming power that can lead humanity into its most dramatic step forward in its evolution. This moment in the history of time is unprecedented.

Since the words of creation were first uttered in the Mind of God, “Let there be Light” life on this beautiful planet has been evolving. There has been a plan and a purpose far greater than my mind can grasp.

The Mind of God is certainly beyond my human ability to understand. When I consider this world and all its glory I am struck with such awe, I can scarcely take it in. When I let my consciousness consider the vastness of the universe beyond this planet, there is such mystery that I cannot pretend to comprehend.

The Source of Life, the meaning of life, is a mystery. Philosophers have written their realizations, sometimes with great wisdom and revelation and at times with errors that it has taken humanity many ages to untangle. The course of human consciousness is not a straight line to enlightened awareness. In fact, it is a circuitous path.

When I consider that pathway, after a lifetime of prayerful contemplation and regular meditation there is one force that seems to stand forth. There is one thing that appears to give meaning to the many lessons that life offers in this University of Living, that something is Love.

If there is one thing, it seems that all of life conspires to teach, it is Love. With all of the need for love and desire to love and be loved that motivates human behavior, Love often remains a mystery.

As I ponder, contemplate, and meditate upon the mystery that is love I am aware that it is the diverse power and force that is love that makes it is so hard to understand sometimes. The ancient Greek philosophers tried to help humanity understand love by their three words to define Love.

And, since those ancient times, those three words are still the definitions that are used. You may not understand the full breadth of each of those words and concepts, but that does not make them wrong. Learning the differences and nuances of those different types of love and more importantly the ways to manifest those differences of various kinds of love has been grist for the philosopher’s mill for many, many centuries.

Learning about Love, how to Love, is so important that Jesus chose Love as His determination of how the Laws of God were fulfilled when he stated in Matthew 22: 35-40 ³⁵And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. ³⁶“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” ³⁷And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ³⁸This is the great and first commandment. ³⁹And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. ⁴⁰On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

This answer does not only direct your attention to ethical questions but also reveals a great deal about Love. Love is about a relationship. Love for all of its dynamic power exists only in relationship.

Love Only Exists In Relationships

That relationship can then fall into those three categories that the Ancient Greek philosophers handed down to current generations. Those relationships sum up all of our human experience:

Agape: the unconditional and transforming Love that God shares with you in relationship with Divine Love. That powerful aspect of Love that grants you access to Grace and Forgiveness.
Philo: the love of friends. Those with whom we have the relationships of fellowship, our neighbors, our families, and the brothers and sisters of our emerging and awakening consciousness.
And Eros: romantic and sexual love, which is so laden with attachment, desire and need that my spiritual mentor Robert Gerard used to call it, ”sticky love.”

Sadly, the passion and pleasure principle of romantic love has led to love being wrongly considered just an emotion, when it is so much more than that.

This particular and unique moment in the history of human consciousness is making it possible for humanity to learn more about Love than has ever been possible in our long journey toward enlightened awareness. This opportunity comes with energies that are emerging over this next period of the human adventure, energies that will advance the Plan that is held in the Mind of God for His creation, humanity, here on planet earth.

Consciously or not, we are all on a quest for answers, trying to learn the lessons of life. We grapple with fear and guilt. We search for meaning, love, and power. We try to understand fear, loss, and time. We seek to discover who we are and how we can become truly happy.

The Aquarian Age

What has been called the Aquarian Age in astrological terms is a span of earth history that will span over 2,500 years as time is measured on earth. Of course, in the realm of Heaven, that span of time is an illusion.

But, for us as human beings, the lessons of life and lessons of love that are uniquely available to us in the next 2,500 years are profound because they are the lessons of brotherhood and sisterhood. They are the lessons of unity and oneness and the lessons of Love that will usher in the foretold time “When the Lion will lay down with the Lamb.” This is a time when it is said to be followed by Peace to reign for a thousand years.

Now you and I may have great difficulty imagining the lessons that life and more importantly the lessons of love that will emerge in the consciousness of humanity over that vast span of time, but in The Mind of God, and the overall plan of evolution, love prevails.

I do not know how that happens or when that happens, but I know with the wisdom of my Soul and the profound revelation of my heart that love prevails. We are told from every source of life, about the nature of God and the nature of the universe that “God is Love.”

The Nature Of The Soul

So, as I connect to my Soul for my meditative insights, I am struck by the realization that the nature of my Soul, which is the spark of Divinity that enlivens me, is also love. Therefore, I am Love. The love which empowered conception for this particular life adventure directs my life to learn the lessons of love.

If Love Is First

Today I would like you to consider how your life and your relationships, in all of the types of love the philosophers describe, would be different if you let love be your first consideration in what you do and in what you say?

If Love is first, Harmless and Right Speech become automatic. If Love is first, you are able to consider others beyond your personal needs and attachments.

If Love is first all ethical considerations answer to the question of: how is love best served in this decision?

These are broad and important questions upon which Soulful consideration will reveal a greater understanding of love.

Therefore, I invite you to ponder on this next question: How would you handle your current situation, your current relationships or your current circumstance in your life if you put Love first?

I invite you to as a meditative exercise: calm your mind, open your heart and invite the Light of Love to guide you in your life and relationships.

Your understanding and revelation to these questions will be empowered by opening to and connecting with your Soul, whose nature is love.

Meditate on Love. Open your heart to Love. Let your awareness be infused with Love and you will find your life filled with a joy that knows no boundaries and peace that passes understanding.

As you reflect upon and consider these revelations, I encourage you to record your impressions and thoughts in your spiritual journal. It is so important that the wisdom of your Soul be considered and integrated into your personality for greater success and joy in your life.

Consider, if you will, how laws and governance would be if they put Love first. Letting Love guide the laws that regulate and govern society will do more to make the world a better place than anything I can imagine.

When Love is first, selfishness and greed go away. Love automatically aligns with the greatest good of all. Love brings unity and dissolves the illusions of separateness that can create so much harm in the world.

Love is the nature of your Soul and each time you align with Love you open your heart and your mind to a Higher Power. By aligning with Love, you are bringing your personal will into a dynamic and powerful expression of Divine Will.

By putting Love first and letting Love guide your actions you will be supported by the Heavens. You become a Light Worker backed up by the most powerful force on earth, Love.

Remember Who You Truly Are

Remember Who You Truly Are

Perhaps, one of the most powerful and profound messages I have ever received in meditation was the instruction to, “Remember Who You Truly Are.”

This phrase not only impacted my spiritual life at the time I first received this instruction but has returned to my ponderings throughout the years.

Today, I share it with you, hoping that within your meditations and ponderings you will find insight, strength, and wisdom.

When you focus on this question I encourage you to have your spiritual journal with you. Recording the ideas you receive helps you gain greater depth and understandings of flashes of awareness.

You might initially respond to this Koan by thinking it is silly. You could dismiss it by giving simplistic answers. A Koan is an exercise of finding a deeper truth. I believe to benefit from the use of a Koan, you must look beyond the surface into the heart of the question. In that way, the truth is revealed.

As you ponder the question, consider if you will, all of the roles and titles you have carried through your life. Most have been descriptions of what you do, not who you are.

Once you move through the identities of what roles you have played in your life, what is left?

Are you larger than the jobs you have done or the roles you played in other’s lives?

At the center of your being, you have the answer;
you know who you are and you know what you want.
– Lao Tzu

A Meditation To Explore Who You Truly Are

Take a deep breath as you calm your mind, open your heart and invite the Light.

Sit quietly and listen in the silence to the promptings of your Soul. How does it answer the question, “Who Am I, Truly?”

Let your heart experience whatever comes to you. Let your mind be free. Suspend judgment.

Open to the wisdom of your Soul. Invite it to reveal to you awareness you may have never perceived before.

There is no wrong answer. Just open your heart and mind to the promptings of your Soul.

Listen, in the silence with your whole being as you ponder “Who am I, truly?”

Consider the thoughts, concepts, and feelings that drift into your being. In the silence, you may find paths of consciousness that call to you.

Let them flow freely, opening understandings that are new to you. You may wish to pause and record these impressions in your journal so you can return to them in another time, in another meditation.

You may experience an expanded sense of being. Let your awareness grow to the edges of your consciousness. Let your perception be limitless.

Taking a deep and relaxing breath, release with your exhale any stress you may be holding in your body. That stress is not a part of who you truly are, so you can let it go.

Then draw in another deep and relaxing breath. As you release your breath, you can release your fears. They are not a part of who you truly are.

Now, as you breathe in another deep and relaxing breath realize you can, with your exhale, release any limiting beliefs and thought-forms you may be holding. They too are not part of who you truly are.

Return to the silence, as you realize these burdens of stress, fears and limiting beliefs you have carried are not a part of your true self, your essential self. They have not served you, and you have no need to ever gather them to you again.

Return to the question you are pondering; who am I truly if I am not my stresses, my fears or the beliefs that have limited me?

Allow the peace of this experience to permeate your essence. As you breathe in, breathe in that peace and calm. Be aware that you are breathing in peace and calm that comes from the very essence of yourself.

Let the energy in your heart expand into that peace. Let the Love of your Soul fill your heart as you let yourself Love and appreciate who you are.

In the calm and the silence of this moment let yourself receive the grace of loving and accepting yourself.

In the pause of remembering who you truly are let the grace of self-forgiveness fill your heart and mind.

You are more than the total of the roles you have played and the deeds you have done. You are more than your emotions and beliefs. Within you, there is an essential Self. Open your awareness to that Self.

In the silence, in the calm afterglow of this meditation receive the Love that your Soul has for you. Receive the grace that is your birthright as a spark of the Divine Light that inhabits us all.

Record your thoughts, feelings, and impressions in your journal at this time. Remember that writing about what you have experienced helps you ground and solidify that experience.

Be Open To Your Soul

Take a moment, as you calm your mind, open your heart and invite the light of your Soul, to ponder on what you have received in response to the question who am I truly.

Expand your awareness to receive the flow of unlimited love and compassion that is the nature of your Soul.

As, that Love fills your heart and illumines your mind, realize and celebrate that your Soul is an integral essence of who you are.

Yes, you have a human and material body, but you are much more than your body.

Certainly, you have emotions, but they are only experiences along the adventure of life. They are not who you truly are.

Amazingly, you have a mind, capable of great thoughts and expansions of consciousness. Within that mind is the power of imagining and perceiving that which is beyond what is material into an essence which is Spirit.

As a Soul, you are a co-creator with the Divine of the nature and purpose of your life. Yet, for your Soul to work in the world and influence matter, it needs the actions of your physical body.

It requires the understanding and cooperation of others that comes from the practice of compassion and the demonstration of Love that only you as a dual nature of Spirit/Soul and Matter/Body, can offer to the world.

Your personality and ego are part of a team that brings the Spirit into manifestation in the physical universe. This merger of your Soul with the material is focused on bringing Love into the world of matter.

Love is the essential nature of the Soul and the nature of the Divine. YOU, as a human being are the incredible miracle of life created to bridge those worlds, to reveal that truth, to learn and teach the nature of Love.

For this great task was humanity created. For this great service to the whole universe are you here on Planet Earth, learning, growing and striving to transform matter with Love.

This integration of your Soul (whose nature is Love united with Divine Purpose and Will) with your physical body, emotions mind and personality is a divine purpose in life that has a purpose beyond what you can know and see.

Being, and becoming who you truly are, and remembering and revealing your Divine nature while in human form is the pathway that all of humanity must travel to fulfill the Divine Plan and destiny for humanity.

You are an adventurer. You are a trailblazer. You are a child of God and a spark of Spirit merging divine source into matter as you learn to express and share Love.

In all of creation, the human being is a unique and special being. Be who you are. Celebrate this miracle of life you have been granted. Accept the love and guidance of your Soul as you master your physical, emotional and mental nature and integrate your personality with your Soul.

As your consciousness returns to the activities and requirements of your life, realize that this meditation of remembering can empower you.

You can return to this meditation and this pondering as often as you like. Each experience can deepen and reveal ever more of the mystery of remembering who you truly are.

Are You Being Called To Stand With The Christ

One of the things I do every day as a part of my spiritual journey is to meditate and pray.

I arise, usually before the sun and open my heart, my mind, and my Soul to the Christ. Doing that on a daily basis helps me align with my Soul, align with Divine Will and align with Love.

This sacred time, this time of contemplation and surrender, are the source of my joy and peace of mind. When faced with a troubling situation in life it is this that guides me.

When there are ethical questions, I encounter in life situations, knowing whose team I am on make them easier. I know whose teachings guide my life.

Standing With The Christ

This relationship with the Christ is not a new one for me. It has been the sustaining power in my life.

Standing with the Christ is not about theological dogma for me. It is about relationship, choice, and surrender. However, it is mostly about love.

My relationship with the Christ is not a bunch of rules and regulations. It is not about believing. It is about living in the real world as a disciple of a Lord that I love more than words can easily express. And, it is about being loved and knowing without question that I am loved, completely and unconditionally.

It is not about following what people say or believe about the Christ, and especially not about following what people say that they believe. It is about following the dictates of love. It is about listening to the still quiet prompting of my Soul.

Only when I love I am able to let go of my ego and personal desires, to stand with the Christ. It is Love that guides my heart and mind beyond selfish desires and brings me to a relationship with Christ that directs and empowers my life.

God knows I have an ego. I certainly have a personality with as many flaws as anyone. But when I stand with the Christ, as love enters my heart I am blessed with unconditional love, grace, and forgiveness. I do not have to be perfect because I stand within the love of the Christ.

That Love is sufficient for all of my needs. It fills my heart to overflowing abundance enough for me to share with the world. Compassion can flow without ceasing.

Love is my antidote to criticism and judgment. The joy I experience with this relationship is a natural antidote to fear. This relationship is beyond faith. It is a giving and receiving relationship that guides my thoughts, words, and deeds.

Standing with the Christ focuses my life on the principles of service and goodwill: Those principles have been called the saving force of humanity. Standing with the Christ is what we as humanity and more importantly as disciples are called to do.

Across the planet, across all religions and limitations that lead to separateness and selfishness in the world is a call from the Christ for men and woman of goodwill to stand with Him.

This is calling out to the men and woman of goodwill that transcends all denominations and all dogmas; it is a calling for right relationships for all of humanity.

When Jesus walked the earth, he spoke of this coming time and guided us with His teachings of how to recognize those who take a stand for Christ.

He told us that:

Yea though you have done it to the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me.
– Matthew 25:40 (King James Bible)

To stand with the Christ is a stand of service.

In the 2,500 years since the resurrection and accession of the Christ, God has continued to work for good in the world.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
– Romans 8:28 (King James Bible)

An Invitation To The New Group of World Servers

This working for good in the world has, according to the Ageless Wisdom become a worldwide movement directed by the Christ that is becoming known by the name The New Group of World Servers. This working for good in the world is part of standing with the Christ.

I take this opportunity to invite you to join with your heart and your mind with this mission of the Christ in the world today.

You can join with others who are the men and woman of goodwill, every day across this planet at 5 p.m.; wherever you are in the world by saying this simple prayer:

The Blessing of the New Group of World Servers

May the power of the One Life
pour through the group of all true servers.

May the Love of the One Soul
characterize the lives of all who seek to aid the Great Ones.

May we fulfill our part in the One work
through self-forgetfulness, harmlessness and right speech.

The words “the power of the One Life” refers to the Christ. When you say this blessing, you join with and stand with the Christ by supporting His disciples around the world.

Love and compassion are the fruits of standing with the Christ.

Stand with the Christ in your everyday interactions with your fellow citizens of planet earth.

It is a way to answer all ethical questions. When you stand with the Christ love becomes your guiding principle. When you let love be your guide, it becomes easy to know right from wrong, truth from lies and good from evil.

This is your life. It is your choice what you do. This simple choice to stand with the Christ opens you to a life of love, a life of service and an opportunity to know the “Peace that passes understanding.”

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ.
– Philippians 4:7 (King James Bible)

Stand with the Christ. Be a person of goodwill in this world. Consider harmlessness to others in all that you say and do. Let right-speech guide your words.

As I discuss in my article Principles of Goodwill, “To consider that each time you serve your fellow man, the good that you do is being done for the Christ (or even to the Christ) really expands this concept of the body of Christ.”

Being a disciple of Christ in this modern world may require taking a stand. When you take that stand in love and when you take that stand with Christ miracles happen.

Ancient Affirmation and Mantra

I would like to conclude this with something I have published before, that is a personal favorite of mine and a call to action. It is an ancient mantra called the discipleship mantra. I invite you to use it to empower your life.

I am a point of Light within the greater Light.

I am a strand of loving energy within the stream of Love Divine,

I am a spark of sacrificial fire, focused within the fiery Will of God.

And Thus I Stand.

I am a way by which men may achieve.

I am a source of strength enabling them to stand.

I am a beam of Light shining upon their way.

And Thus I Stand.

I am a radiating center of Joy, Serenity and Quiet Mind.

And Thus I Stand.

And standing thus revolve.

And tread this way the way of men.

And know the way of God.

And Thus I Stand.

Feel the Breeze of an Angels Wing

This article is a part of my on-going series on Angels.

Angels are shy beings, composed Spirit and not matter. For that reason, they do not appear in a way that can be seen with the physical eye.

There are those whose eyes are focused in such a way that they can see what is etheric. It is they who can see the fairies and other Spirit beings who live among us, often both unknown and unseen.

It is important to remember that there is more to life than what appears in solid matter. Spirit, your Soul, and angelic beings are real and reside outside of the visual field of your physical eyes which are attuned to the material world.

Stories of Angels

Children are the most likely to experience these beings. To be born able to see the etheric along with perceiving the material is a gift. However, when with childish innocence, they share their vision with the adults in their life, many if not most adults, deny that what they are seeing is real. This invalidation often convinces the child not to share their gifted perception and makes them doubt their experience.

In the scriptures of every culture, and in the legends or every religion there are stories of Angels. In some of these stories, the Angels appear more in physical form. In others, they appear more ethereal. In some stories, they seem to be a fully formed physical appearance differentiated by a glow, often around their head or sometimes their whole body, complete with wings. Consider the many paintings of Angels by Renaissance artists.

What seems to be common in Angelic visitations is that their very first message is for the human to “be not afraid.” Angels know that people are not used to seeing them and are not used to receiving messages from God. An angelic message is an unusual and rare experience. It is a great blessing and a great honor.

The universality of angelic appearances makes me wonder why the ability to see an Angel is systematically trained out of children the world over. This phenomenon applies even to many parents who claim to be believers and have faith.

The very word Angel means messenger of God. It would seem that a message from God is a great gift, not something to be feared or ignored. It appears that children could be encouraged to explore and develop their etheric vision rather than be told that it is their imagination.

Somehow, in a world that is composed of both Spirit and Matter, Spirit can make people uncomfortable. Angels, who are the messengers of God and who watch over you to help you your entire life are often summarily dismissed by those they serve.

This tendency has not always been so. Perhaps it is because the reality of matter has become so invasive in this world that the presence of Spirit is denied. It seems easier to deny the existence of Angels than it is to accept that the world is wider and more fantastic than what the five senses perceive.

Still, people long for the comfort of Angels. They cry out for the aid of Angels. They use Angel cards for guidance and desire the assurance of God’s grace and awareness through their trials and tribulations. They hope that Angels are real even though they dare not believe.

Many people, when you speak to them of Angels recall their childhood experiences. It is not unusual for a child, around the age of 7 to have an Angelic visitation that reveals the mysteries and direction for their life. This event often requires prompting even to be remembered.

What is amazing to me is how universal this experience is; and how frequently it can be completely forgotten. Forgotten even as someone struggles with finding their life’s purpose; that is most often the subject of the childhood angelic vision. Remembering, and opening to the Presence of Angels in your life is life empowering.

Spirit vs. Matter

It is interesting that while focusing on living your life, you can ignore such a significant part of the world, Spirit. Matter is interpreted as “real,” while perceptions of Spirit are often labeled as “unreal.”

That may be why the words of an ancient mantra from the writings of the Ageless Wisdom declare:

“May I be led from darkness into Light, from the unreal to the real, from death to immortality?”

Sadly, the overemphasis on the material parts of life make Spiritual truths and Spiritual experiences harder and harder to understand. It is as if the compass to guide people between these worlds has been lost in the annals of time.

To limit your perception of the world to only the world of matter
is to deny much of what is most mysterious and most glorious about life.

Meditation in the stillness, quiet contemplations, and dreams are ways that you can listen to the guidance of your Soul, or experience the Presence of Angels.

The dreams which reveal the supernatural are promises and messages that God sends us directly: they are nothing but His Angels, His ministering spirits, who usually appear to us when we are in a great predicament.

To deny the realm of Angels and the world of Spirit is foolish. Although the Ageless Wisdom teaches that there is a veil that separates the world of Angels from the material world, that veil has been thinning as part of the transition in the consciousness of humanity.

The cries and need of humanity have moved heaven to grant greater awareness and understanding of the realm of Angels and the realm of the Soul. This shift in perception is a part of the evolution of humanity over the next phase of planetary life.

Those who, as children, had an awareness of Angelic beings are able, through meditation and prayer, to find that the Presence of Angels is becoming more accessible. This change is an integral part of the plan for humanity.

More and more, as books about Angels are published, and more and more as Angel cards are created, the reality of the realm of Angels finds its way into humanities understanding.

The near stillness recalls what is forgotten, extinct angels.

Angels are real. The fact that you do not often see them with your eyes does not mean that they are not present. That you do not see them is not important. You can feel them and sense them in the stillness.

Commune With Angels

When you wish to connect, and perceive the Spirit World, while you are in the consciousness of the material world, a shift in your attention is required. It is not the Angels who need that change but your personality, your emotional needs, your ego and the aspects of your “lower self.” Otherwise, even though full heavenly hosts surround you, you can ignore them, see nothing and feel nothing.

Angels are attracted to humanity whenever you reach out to your Soul when you pray or meditate when you are open to the world of Spirit and quiet your mind.

That is why I instruct you when reaching for communion with your Soul or the Angels to first “Calm your mind, open your heart and Invite the Light.”

Since your Soul and the Angels share communicating with you through soft and still impressions, I always advise that you have beside you a special journal to write and record the direction or wisdom you have received in your meditations.

I have found the path to the awareness of your Soul and the way to commune with Angels is similar. Both your Soul and Angels reside in the awareness of Spirit and therefore require some transition in your consciousness to be available to you.

Meditation is the most useful tool for coming into contact and communication with Angels. However, let us not forget that Angels are automatically attracted by prayer and rituals that invoke spiritual experiences. That is why places of worship are often so imbued with Angelic Presence that they can be felt or sensed without conscious calling upon Angels.

Detecting the Presence of Angels is often the unexpected blessing of spending quiet time in contemplation in the great worship houses in the world. Over the years and centuries, these citadels of worship have called the Angels. The atoms of these places have become infused with Angelic Presence in ways that make the awareness of the realm of Angels more accessible.

Angels come with your invitation and invocation. Their presence is subtle most of the time. You may sometimes have an impression that is on the edge of seeing, or you may feel the subtle movement of air that is the gentle breeze of an Angel’s wing. Let me know your thoughts on this!

Experience Soul Personality Integration

This article is a continuation of my ongoing series on Soul Consciousness, blended with my ongoing series on Love, and the Angels.

This blending of my Soul with the Angels occurs as a simultaneous act of invocation and evocation. In so doing I open my life to the fulfillment and furtherance of a great plan that is held in the mind of God. You can do the same by reading this next affirmational section aloud.

SOUL INTEGRATION AFFIRMATION

I acknowledge that the Saints, the Hierarchy and those who have served humanity to bring about the manifestation of this Divine Plan, guide and direct me as I put aside my personal will.

As I remain aligned and surrender to Divine Will, I realize that my joy, my bliss, and my fulfillment are found in that surrender.

Each and every time that I can harness even the smallest glimpse of Divine Will, I learn to Love, and I am continuously strengthened and supported by whatever resources I need.

Today, I call upon my Spiritual Inner Plane Guides, my Angels, and the Christ, to provide help and assistance in my life that I may fulfill my life destiny and purpose to manifest God’s Will for my Highest Good and the Highest Good of All.

I surrender to and invoke the wisdom of my Soul as I place my Soul in control. I do this to learn the lessons of Love and to teach others the transforming empowerment of Love.

As I sacrifice my little will and align my life and purpose with Divine Will, I assert and affirm that: “Purpose Itself Am I.”

To manifest this awareness in my physical reality: “Two Minds Unite.”

The Light of the Soul Descends — Soul Light Descending

And to let “The Highest Light Control.”

To do this, I must “See the Greatest Light.”

As this Soul Light descends, it permeates my entire body as I ponder these words of power.

Love is my lantern! Through Love, I can align in full faith and confidence knowing that Divine Will and Wisdom has a purpose and plan that is beyond what I can see from the vision of my individuated self. As I surrender to that Divine Will and Wisdom, I can relax and release all of the mundane needs that have burdened my life.

Through my open connection to my Soul, the Heavenly Hosts are available to provide the healing that those I encounter in my life so desperately need. Through my surrender to Divine Will for the Highest Good of All, I am assured that I will do no harm through the unintended consequences of my personal ego or desire nature.

To walk this path of dual consciousness and awareness requires vigilance.

This walk in life with a human body, buffeted with needs and desires is a new kind of human being, a new kind of Soul consciousness that is just emerging in the human experience. To let your Soul be in control, while still walking in the world of sorrows is a whole new kind of experience in human life.

The human personality, id, and ego sometimes are not easily surrendered to Divine Will. Human glamor’s and illusions spill forth despite best efforts to remain aware of the promptings of your Soul and the guidance that Love provides.

This journey requires Love, and Love changes everything.

Each and every time you can remain open to Divine Love and aligned with and surrendered to Divine Will, you are taking a giant step forward in human evolution.

Each and every time you put your Soul in control you are fulfilling your destiny as the spark of Divine Light that you were created to be.

When you put your Soul in control, you automatically align with Love. You activate your co-creator potential that came from the Creator with the Breath of Life.

When you walk through life as the powerful and amazing being that you truly are, you are thinning the veil between heaven and earth.

You are demonstrating the consciousness of Love. The Angels come to you to support and comfort you.

Your whole perspective changes when you are integrating your Soul with your personality. Harmlessness becomes effortless.

Kindness and compassion flow from your heart as you are moved by the sorrow and suffering of others. You are aware of a unity of Spirit that makes clear your Oneness with all of Life.

SOUL-PERSONALITY INTEGRATION

The resistance you have to surrender and integrate your personality with your Soul is what makes you human. Although simple, it is far from easy to surrender to Divine Love and Divine Will.

The longing you have to be able to remain in a state of Love and aligned with Divine Will speaks to the Presence of your Soul. The nature of your Soul is Love. It is with Love you can open to the wonder and wisdom of your Soul. Ponder on this.

Let my soul smile through my heart
and my heart smile through my eyes.

The integration of your Soul with your personality is the result of lifetimes of lessons of love and karma. The surrender of personal Will to Divine Will is a lesson learned long ago on the angelic realm and much easier when the illusions, glamor’s, and desires of the world of matter are not factors.

Humanities next significant step forward is to master this dual perspective, this dual consciousness, and then bring it into the world. This is an important step forward in the consciousness of humanity. Is is the evolution of a new kind of human being. One who is in relationship and communion with the Divine.

Imagine, for a moment if you will, just how this world would be different if Love were in control. Imagine, if governments and societies followed the Law of Love. Imagine, if the guidelines for the laws were crafted and passed with the principle of the Highest Good of All.

That would undoubtedly usher in a “Heaven on Earth.” That would fulfill the prophecies of old of “Peace on Earth,” a time when the lion could lie down with the lamb. These prophecies and dreams have fueled all world religions because they are the plan in the mind of the Creator that humanity was created to fulfill.

It takes only a moment of both self-awareness and life awareness to see how far humanity is from manifesting that vision that has been foretold. It is by learning to Love, by bringing you Soul into control and by surrendering your personal Will to Divine Will that the best chance for humanity manifests.

Many of the solutions to life’s challenges are simple. That does not make them easy. Free Will is an essential part of the human experience. The personality, the “lower self” must make the conscious choice to surrender to Divine Will. Without that conscious choice, the choice to choose Love, the choice to put your Soul in control and work with the Angels and the realm of Spirit to harness the world of matter, real enlightenment cannot happen.

By the very word, enlightenment requires bringing Light into the substance of matter. This is the destiny of humanity.

The merging of your Soul, with your completely human body, emotions, personality, and mind is what I have called the “Greatest Merger and Acquisition” ever.

It was to fulfill this blending of Spirit and Matter, Light and Dark, personal Will surrendered to Divine Will, that the human adventure was created. It was to bring Divine Love into manifestation in this world of matter that the struggle of life exists.

Matter, by its very nature, is devoid of Love. Only through humanity learning to Love and surrendering to Love can this dual consciousness of Soul and Personality through the denseness of matter be infused by Love, and the denseness of matter be inspired by Light.

This is the fuel of miracles and the purpose of life. Not just to learn how to Love, but to let Love so fully into your life that the very atomic matter of your being, your heart, lets your mind merge with your Soul, whose nature is Love.

Your human adventure offers you the opportunity to learn and grow until Love is clearly the answer. Surrendering to Love is your path to joy. When surrendering to Love becomes your personal Free Will you automatically align with Divine Will.

When you choose Love,
you are allowing your personality access to
the transforming power of your Soul.

Today, I invite you to choose Love and reach for your Soul Consciousness. By making that choice, you have activated your Free Will on a path that brings you into alignment with the teachings and wisdom of your Soul.

When you choose Love, you become an agent of Divine Will here on planet Earth. Each time you choose to give Love, you are winning a victory. Each time you win, access to your Soul consciousness becomes cumulatively easier. Your Soul becomes ever more in control until the Soul, in control, can bring to Light the Love that underlies the happening of the times. Soul personality integration is the destiny and fulfillment of humanity.

Dare To Be of Service To The World

To dare to be the amazing being that you are, aware of all that you were created to be takes courage.

You are a spark of Divine Light created in the image of a God of Love. This is amazing. This gives you unlimited possibilities.

The power of standing forth as a being of dynamic grace is often misunderstood.

Standing in your Spiritual Light and your Spiritual power is a blessing to the world.

The world may fail to appreciate or understand the radiance that is you. This is a burden that has long been shared by those who have strived to demonstrate God’s Love and God’s grace through their lives. The challenge to be true to yourself and true to your purpose in life is an awesome spiritual journey. It may not be the easy path but it leads to fulfillment and great joy.

To be true to yourself, true to your purpose in life may sometimes be a lonely path. As a beacon of Light, you stand out in the world. As one who loves and serves others, you may at times feel vulnerable and different. You may be misunderstood. People may take advantage of your kindness. You may be called upon to forgive much that seems unforgivable. This has been true for those who have come before you and will most likely be true for those who are guided by your life. The path of service may not be an easy path.

At times, you may feel alone. It may help you to know that you are not alone. Thankfully, there are across the world, others who have opened to their Divine Light and Divine nature. When you join the Light of your Soul with theirs and join your service with them, you can become a dynamic force for good and change in the world. Know that joining with others empowers you. Your Light and your purpose are magnified.

It only takes a moment of looking around for you to see the need for Love to redeem the world and for Soul Light to infuse the hearts and minds of humanity. As easy as it is for you to see, so it is for others, who like you walk the earth for the higher purpose of helping and serving mankind. To be a beacon of Love in the world is a high calling. One you honor by standing firm in your purpose.

The Bible and the spiritual writings since the dawn of time have recorded the stories of men and woman who have demonstrated and surrendered to God’s Will to serve as instruments of God’s Love and Grace for his creation. The work of bringing humanity into right relationship with God has gone on since the dawn of time and continues today. The need for right relations remains of vital importance today.

To join humanity in bringing right relationship with God you must dare to let the Light of your Soul shine forth. A light hidden under a bushel cannot dispel the darkness. Yet it is important to remember that a single candle can dispel the darkness. Light is by its very nature always more powerful than the darkness. As you share your Light you serve the greater good.

The calling of your Soul to be of service to your fellow man identifies you. The way of service is not the way of the world but it is the portal to spiritual wisdom. It is the way to let your Light shine out for the entire world to see.

To listen to the promptings of your Soul is fulfilling your life’s purpose by bringing your love and Light to your fellow man. This is also a portal to true joy and fulfillment.

There is comfort in knowing that you are not alone. When you join with others to deliver God’s Love and demonstrate God’s grace you can magnify the radiance and be of support to one another. Joining together in spiritual community with purpose is empowering for everyone.

Your power to influence the world and to make the world a better place is enhanced and magnified when you join with others in groups. Ponder on this!

To stand forth in prayer and meditation is a way of being the change you wish to see in the world. You can, through prayer or meditation, imagine your Soul connected in the living Light with all who are a part of what is known in the Ageless Wisdom as the New Group of World Servers. You can join with the efforts of the many who work for good in the world.

It is through service to others that you can best demonstrate your love. It is in service to others that God’s love becomes a tangible and living thing.

You can join with others in service; your intention is sufficient to connect your light with their Light.

In a spiritual life, service is a portal to true joy. Helping others is a labor of love. When through your life you are able to be a blessing to others you further open the doors to receive greater blessings and greater joy in your own life.

Your personal happiness and success are enhanced when you respond to the calling of your Soul. To those who know their purpose to be emissaries of God’s Love and Light there is a gratification that is felt as an expansion of the Love and Light deep within your heart. Amazingly, this expansion of Love and Light is its own reward.

To focus your meditations on the purpose of serving your fellow man I will share one of my very favorite affirmations with you. This mantram can be used to help you declare your intention and join you energetically with others.

It is especially powerful when said together in a group meditation. When you say this affirmation in meditation and with intention you will be a dynamic part in the service to your fellow man.

Voicing this discipleship affirmation you are joined with others who also work for good in the world. As one of my favorite mantrams I use it regularly in my own personal meditations. I love the power of the assertion of purpose in the words “And thus we stand.” It helps me remember that I am not alone and yet focuses my intention toward service. I hope you find it a blessing in your life.

Say with your whole heart as a Soul the following ancient mantram:

             Affirmation of Service

We are the points of Light within the greater Light.

We are strands of loving energy within the stream of Love Divine.

We are sparks of sacrificial fire, focused within the fiery Will of God.

               And thus we stand.

We are ways by which all may achieve.

We are a source of strength enabling them to stand.

We are beams of Light shining upon their way.

               And thus we stand.

We are radiating centers of Joy, Serenity and Quiet Mind.

To The Least of These My Brethren

While in my heart Celebrating the Canonization and Sainthood of Mother Teresa, now Saint Teresa by Pope Francis, I was listening to a video about her life where she held up the hand of her guest and counted off the five words “You did it (un)to me.”

I was touched that as we look at her life, her strength and her service, she was motivated and driven that every act of kindness, every service she performed in the “black hole of Calcutta” where she worked to aid the poorest of the poor; those whose lives were discarded was an act of Love that she performed to the least of these “my brethren” because she saw in them the Divine Light.

I had never heard that story before.

I had written the article below recently about living a life in service to others by seeing in them, “inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me,” as instructed by Jesus (in the King James Bible version.)

Realizing that Saint Teresa of Calcutta, known for most of my life as Mother Teresa lived by those five words (You, Did, It, To, Me as a way to explain the five gospels) demonstrates how powerful those five words can be.

The story I share here, about my grandmother will hopefully demonstrate alone with Saint Teresa’s canonization that this instruction by Jesus was not an impossible task, but rather a way we can each decide to walk the world in Love, service, and fellowship with one another.

Let her Love and her service inspire people around the world to realize that what she did in her life each and every one of us can do.

Although we may never be declared a Saint we can follow the teachings of these five words of Jesus and the marvelous example of the life and work of Saint Teresa. We can live a meaningful life, a blessed life and be a blessing to those we encounter on our journey through life.

Some of us may feel the tasks ahead are beyond us. Indeed, we are told that Mother Teresa felt the vast poverty she was sent by her convent to minister to was beyond her, but in her daily walk with Christ as a demonstration of Love, she became a beacon of Light for the entire world.

Parables have been a method of spiritual teachers throughout the ages. Much like the tradition of a Zen Koan, a parable is a story for you to consider and ponder the deeper truth and lesson being offered. The lesson of a parable must be pondered in your heart as it is considered in your mind. Ponder on this.

The guidance of a parable is revealed through your inner wisdom through a sense of knowing and what has the resonance of a ring of truth to it. Often, it is the very pondering of what the teacher meant that gives the greatest spiritual insight.

The Bible phrase above found in Matthew 25:40 is a parable. In the simple phrase “Yeah though you have done it for the least of these my brethren” is a profound life guidance statement that is often ignored by those who say they follow Jesus. This little line in this simple parable ignites many questions that are worthy of pondering and considering.

In my life, I was blessed by a wonderful grandmother who had given this passage enough gravitas and consideration that it guided her whole life. I cannot remember and count all of the unwed mothers who migrated through my grandmother’s home over the years. The young women who were often disowned or cast out by their families found a haven in my grandmother’s home.

One by one she saw the woman through their pregnancy and birth then helped them find honorable and respectable men who would marry them and become a father to their child. As a child observing this, I do not know the details of how she managed to accomplish this task.

Mostly, I remember the often bittersweet joy of the young woman moving on to a better life that was mixed with my grandmother missing the baby who had been born into this situation.

Likewise, my grandmother had a neighbor who had transferred the deed to her home to her son so that when she passed on he would not have to pay inheritance tax. He then immediately sold the house out from under her, thus rendering the woman homeless. The result was my grandmother took her in. They were not friends, only neighbors. In fact, they never even addressed one another by their first names. I only knew this resident in my grandmother’s home as Mrs. Malloy.

My grandmother housed and cared for Mrs. Malloy for many years until caring for her became beyond my grandmother’s health abilities. She then found a home that could provide the care, Mrs. Malloy, now needed. She then visited her weekly until Mrs. Malloy passed.

When as a child I would question the reasoning behind my Grandmother’s generosity she explained it through this biblical passage. In her mind and heart, each of these people who had found themselves in unfortunate circumstances was cared for as if they were Jesus knocking on the door of her heart. She welcomed them and treated them as if they were Him.

This extraordinary example of living that biblical passage has had a profound influence in my life and is one which I have pondered throughout my life. What I have come to understand and realize is that this is a complex lesson. The answers are not simple.

A whole myriad of factors must be considered that are related to issues of personal responsibility. There are life lessons to be learned from every situation that is not yours or mine to disrupt through charity.

One of the clearest of these lessons is the concept of seeing the Divine spark within each person that led Jesus to say in this parable “I was sick, and you cared for me; I was in prison, and you visited me; I was hungry, and you fed me.” We find this Divine spark within those who are even the “least of these my brethren.”

It is in serving and caring for others with Love, while still empowering them to co-create in their own life the fulfillment of their dreams and desires, which you can best be of service.

The respect and honor you give to even the least of these the brethren of the Christ, and the least of these your brethren a demonstration of how brotherhood works. It is through the brotherhood of men and sisterhood among woman that you best acknowledge the Divine spark that is within each of us. This acknowledgment is captured in the phrase of the ancient greeting of “Namaste – The Divine spark in me honors and recognizes the Divine spark in you.”

In this way we are all brothers and sisters, we are all the children of God. We are One Humanity.

None of us is an island, our separateness and separation are an illusion. We cannot hurt one another without hurting ourselves. Likewise, when we help and serve another, we help ourselves. This connection is real no matter how much we may strive to think in selfish and separate ways.

Deep in your heart and more importantly deep in your Soul this truth is known. No matter how individual life may seem, there is a unity of connection we all have with one another.

The biblical phrase that guided so much of my Grandmother’s life and service was “Yeah though you have done it unto the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me.” For my grandmother, every unwed mother who traveled through her care and her homeless neighbor were all part of her expression of love and service to the Christ.

This living example of the active principle of love had a profound influence on my life that guides my life situations today. I am so grateful that this loving woman was in my life. Her example and love have been a constant source of strength in my life journey.

I am eternally grateful for the blessing of her presence in my life and her tireless example of what love and service mean.

Although I have known many wonderful spiritual teachers throughout my life, my grandmother living her life by that simple phrase from the book of Matthew 25:40 was more of an example of following the teachings of Jesus than the many sermons I have heard in my life.

She truly “walked her talk,” and I was so blessed by the opportunity to observe someone who “walked their talk” in my formative years. Her living expression of Love and Grace has been ongoing support (even though her body has passed on) and I am grateful for the blessing of her example and her love in my life.

In all of her expressions of Love and Service, to the various unwed mothers who cycled through her home, I recall a complete lack of judgment toward the woman she brought under her protection. She opened her heart and her home to help them get their life back on track, so a mistake was not the definition of their future.

Her demonstration of grace and her example of forgiveness and especially self-forgiveness have been an example of what forgiveness means and the unconditional nature of love.

For my Grandmother, it was Christ that she served and Christ who knocked on the door to her heart and Christ she housed and cared for when she gave comfort and shelter to those in need. I can only marvel at what a beautiful demonstration of love her life was for with gratitude in my heart for having been blessed by the love and support of such an amazing disciple of Christ.

I am blessed to share her story with you with love and invite you to open your heart and Do It Unto Me.

A New Consciousness is Emerging

– With the Touch of Your Soul

What is a touch of your Soul and how does it impact your life?

We are told by the writings of the Ageless Wisdom that from the moment of creation of humanity on this planet there was, in the mind of God, an overall plan of evolution.

Our Deepest Truths

It was part of the plan of God when in the creation story God said, “let us make man in our own image” (Genesis 1:26,) after our likeness. Biblical scholars and believers alike have often wondered who is “us”. Who is the “our” that God, as the creator, referred to?

To understand this passage in the creation story, there are many concepts that we must grasp that are beyond our everyday consciousness and awareness. Concepts about the nature of consciousness and thus the nature of reality.

Amazingly, the understandings of these truths have, throughout the eons of time, only been revealed as hints, such as in the above bible passage of Genesis.

The Universe is vast, much vaster than our human experience as a dweller on planet earth may be able fully to comprehend at this time. However, spiritual truths have been slowly revealed over time, often with the instruction to “ponder on this.”

Truths about our human experience as beings who are both material and spiritual are often difficult to fully grasp. This dual nature of our being, a material physical creature whose body dies, yet who is also an eternal being because it has an eternal Soul, is often perceived as a conundrum.

It is in understanding the incredible miracle of this dual nature of our being that the full power and potential of what it means to be a human being is revealed. Only man, and of course the version of the man with a womb (woman) are, of all of creation, created in the image of God.

With the breath of life came the creation of the eternal spark of consciousness that is the Soul. This spark of consciousness shares eternity with the creator. This is the mystery that is the deepest truth of awareness held in the human heart that is revealed only through love.

Not only are many of the most profound truths obscured by the teachings being held as secret. A quick scan of the known history of civilization shows that humanity has often not only rejected truths that contradict “consensus reality” but has put to death those who reveal truths before people are ready to hear and accept them.

A New Consciousness is Emerging Now

The timings of revelations require a certain level of consciousness to not only be accepted but more importantly to be understood. History has shown us that ideas have their own unique moment in time to be accepted by the collective consciousness of humanity.

Currently, I believe, a new consciousness is emerging at this very moment in human awareness.

This new consciousness, new awareness, and new understanding is just happening now, in this time of human evolution, revealing truths that have long been held beyond a veil waiting for humanity to be ready. Divine Love fuels that consciousness.

Awakening with A Touch of Your Soul

What reveals Divine Love is what I call “The touch of your Soul.” Your Soul is the divine spark that was breathed into your being the very moment you were conceived in the mind of God as a part of creation.

This awareness of the life of the Soul and the progressive revelation of the touch of the Soul is for the individual human personality life transforming. It creates a new consciousness and with it, new understandings.

This new consciousness goes by several names in the human adventure. The names are not important, the shift in consciousness is.

Among the modern descriptions of this new awareness are the words “awakening,” and “ascension.” These powerful words do reveal some of the truth of what humanity is now becoming able to be, what humanity is becoming able to understand about what are true essence is as human beings.

We are in a fantastic time in the revelation and evolution of human consciousness. It calls forth from the human experience new ways of understanding and, far more important, new ways of being.

I use the words “new ways of being” specifically because this step forward in the human consciousness adventure is more about “being” and “becoming” than it is about doing.

In the ongoing process of humanity learning to be and become what is emerging in this particular transition in understanding is a powerful transformation that will shift everything.

Part of this shift is “spiritual,” because it requires an expansion of awareness beyond the material expression of life. This expansion requires what I call “The touch of the Soul.” The touch of the soul, your Soul, is of paramount importance in this process because it is your Soul that takes on the mantel of being your teacher through the revelation of profound truths that you might well question if revealed from an external teacher.

The role of your Soul as your teacher ultimately results in the creation of this new kind of human being. This new revelation is a coming into fruition of what has always been true but is just now coming into expression.

Ponder the deeper meaning of the ancient Sanskrit greeting used throughout our planet, Namaste: “The Divinity in me recognizes and honors the Divinity in you.”

The Divinity in me in that phrase speaks to a deep yet often unfocused upon archetypal understanding that each and every human being is endowed by the Creator with a spark of Divine Light.

I often in my writings and teachings refer to that Divine spark as your Soul, and I encourage you to, through meditation, invite and invoke the power and the presence of your Soul to take on the duties of your teacher, the master, and guide that has been with you since the dawn of time and travels with you throughout all of eternity.

The emergence into consciousness of the Soul is what is different about what I am calling a new kind of human being. It is not really new since your spiritual anatomy has always had your Soul as a part of it. What is new is the active incorporation of the Soul into your life experience (ideally your everyday experience.)

The expanded conscious awareness that comes from the touch of your Soul is vast. If in your meditations, prayers or contemplations you have experienced this touch of your Soul certain revelations are consistent and profound.

The amazing thing is that the touch of your Soul puts you in touch with a reality that is beyond your normal awareness of body, mind, and emotions that are guided by your five physical sensory inputs. The touch of your Soul reveals a touch of Divine Love that opens and fills your heart to overflowing.

The touch of your Soul may reveal concepts and thoughts that bring clarity and solutions to life challenges you have never considered. You may experience a sense of expansion into an awareness of unity that transcends the sense of alienation that has so often plagued the human experience.

Whatever your personal awareness of your Soul, it will initiate and herald the start of being and becoming this new kind of human being that is emerging into the world.

This new emerging stage of humanity, whether we consider it an awakening, an evolution, or an assentation, requires a new kind of consciousness; a consciousness that integrates the realm of the Soul with the material realm. It requires a conscious that brings into manifestation a human being who is both in the world, but not exclusively of the world.

A merging, integration, and blending of the spiritual perspective of the Soul, with the reality of the human kingdom which is a world of substance and matter in a new way of considering and expressing life.

Over the eons of spiritual teaching parables, stories and analogies they have alluded to this Soul, Mind, Body merged perspective. Jesus’s discussions of the kingdom of heaven are an example that quickly comes to mind.

What is unique to this moment in the cosmic calendar is that with the touch of your Soul, the personality and ego are shown the possibility of being a citizen of the world while being aware and open to the prompting and direction of your Soul.

You can simultaneously be fully a human being with all of the “oh so human failures” and be a spiritual being, aligned with Divine Will and Divine purpose. You can explore your life challenges with this dual perspective of your human nature and your nature as a child of God who is concurrently the Son of Man.

This is a new manifestation of human consciousness and a new expression of spiritual consciousness in a more integrative and thus empowering way than has ever been possible before. It is an opportunity to be truly the being that the creation story of old said was created in “our” image. This is the being that provides the way the old sage words of the catechism can be answered.

Question 1: What is the chief end of man?

Answer: Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.

It is in the realm of the Soul, the kingdom of Heaven and by the blending of the dual consciousness of your human life experience with your spiritual life experience that this becomes possible.

What makes this transition from a human, being limited to the physical, emotional and mental material perspective, to the expanded awareness of the spiritual consciousness is the touch of the Soul.

The touch of the Soul connects you to Divine Love, which is unconditional in nature and transformative. The touch of the Soul grants an eternal perspective which shifts your perception from the temporal to timelessness, a shift that grants awareness of the eternal now.

I invite and encourage you to call upon your own Soul to touch your life in this transformative way. I invite and urge you to call upon your own Soul to be your teacher and your guide in your life adventure. See the related posts listed below for more on this subject.
